For Virgin media atleast, which I believe are the biggest UK providers but I could be wrong (they are the fastest anyway), unsure on the other big ones like BT and Sky.
the X4 is fine and what GPU do you even have?
Sapphire Radeon HD 6850
Does that router support 3G USB Dongles? I'm tempted by it. Google results are fairly sketchy.
It has options for USB modems. Pretty sure people use USB cellular modems on it.
I can't give you proof right now, but I'll atleast check the box and manual.
I accidentally added a new motherboard, 3770K, 16GB of memory and a new PSU to the shopping cart, pressed order, paid it. Now I have an overpowered machine that simulates 1 500 000 particles in RealFlow and doesn't even lag.
Pretty nice boost from 4GB memory and a Phenom II 955.

remember kids, always double check your order!
Piratebay is officially blocked in the UK now while this whole thing goes through.

Isn't is just a DNS block though?
Here in Denmark, pretty much all ISPs block thepiratebay and recently started blocking grooveshark. I just use OpenDNS and everything is good. Although recently tpb changed something so you can get around the block by simply using the .se site v:v:v
I still don't understand why we can't have 'untouched' internet.
Because of politics.
Because of politics.
I think we all need to organize a day where we all go out to the white house or wherever with signs that say "FUCK OFF OLD PEOPLE".
although now that i think about it that's a really bad idea.

it's a bloody good job I did my linux distro downloading earlier today
It doesn't matter much, the tbp.***.org.uk piratebay still works fine in the UK, they only DNS blocked the .se one, but still, annoying.
There are other trackers you know?
disaster averted
There are other trackers you know?
tbp is so much more organised and easy to navigate though
I want to buy just the Sata connectors, no cables. I want to rewire the back of my Cosmos since my drives are close, but my PSU cable allows for like 2 inches between drives. I want to just pop on some more connectors to make it cleaner.
Where can I get them?

isohunt is great too IMO.
There are other trackers you know?
Ofcourse but it's the morality of it (having the internet euthanized) not the blocking of the site that worries me, who knows where it might go in the future, we'll have to see.
Demonoid is great too.
Demonoid is great too.
Not really, half the torrent's I downloaded there gave me an email from my ISP.
And, if your saying that because its a 'private tracker', I hope you know that anybody, and I mean anybody, can get into it. Its just as popular as TPB.
Google DNS ftw.

Peerblock, use it.
Peerblock, use it.
I do now.
Peerblock is largely a placebo.
Blocklists are useless because anyone can join the swarm.
[editline]2nd May 2012[/editline]
Plus you really would need to install blocklists on the tracker itself to be effective. Also DHT and peer exchange should be disabled if you're really that concerned.

Regardless, it does help. Encryption and randomized ports do definately help, though.
General rule of thumb is don't torrent any illegal shit and you'll be fine.
If you do, it's your own business and I'm not going to preach to you.

I only use it in the place of demos, and as a rule of thumb I never "try" Valve games first, they are pretty much an insta-buy.

If its shit it gets uninstalled either way, otherwise I pay for it.
Hey chicos, if I switch over to Google's DNS, will my internet be fixed? May not be enough information, but my internet goes out for about a minute every few minutes to an hour, and it's really annoying. When I try and use Windows troubleshooting, it tells me that its a problem with the DNS. I'm on Comcast.
their .se domain still works for me.
Probably because i use googles DNS
Piracy can't be condoned as you're stealing software, justified or not, but using it as an excuse to euthanize and regulate the internet is just bad practice.
On a CPU, is 0.1GHz worth an extra 30$ and a longer wait? I feel like it isn't, but I'm also waiting on GTX680 to restock as it is.
If it's otherwise practically the same processor you can get the cheaper one and OC it. Because that's the only difference.

When I was a mod on a private tracker we banned people that had DHT enabled.
