Hopefully the One X will have better build quality than my Desire...
Come on guys. a Limited Edition 580 with 3GB ram and a black and blue Twin frozr III heatsink. $350 dollars.

I need to stop reading news site comments.
There is always a shitstorm.

Yep, that is Blackberry 10. An OS that hasn't even been released yet, as far as I'm concerned. I liked the Playbook, but this preview is pretty vague.

The Taiwanese ones are, I have heard some issues with the Chinese ones though. Nothing major though. Do get the grey one though :v:

It is promising, though. Signs that RIM might have finally looked at a calendar and realised their previous lineup is ancient compared to competitors
Damn, 60fps on a phone camera?
Brb, nerdgasming.

Yep, that's what Microsoft realized and released too, some odd 1.5 years ago. I'm just saying that there's no reason to put it in the same boat as WP7, as it is now. We don't even have a release date yet.
Just saw the video that The Verge did. Wow. I actually really like the look of Blackberry 10.
Reminds me of Android 2.3 honestly. :v:

More like WebOS. At least the Playbook had an UI that looked a lot like that.
God damn my mind is like melting right now
We were in a meeting for TWO DAYS trying to nail down the database design for this project. It's gonna take fucking months to implement.
Speaking of melting, it's like 86 right now in my town. I'm scared to turn on my Xbox.

I never used WebOS. I did kind of like how it looked though.
As an owner of a HP Touchpad, I fucking LOVE webOS.
Why leave your car running if you aren't going anywhere with it?
If your car costs about a 25 cents per day to run, I would leave my car running.
And if my car took about 30 seconds to start, but about 5-10 minutes to get all my apps running properly.
Also, what do you think about this battery?
Fake or not? http://www.ebay.com/itm/12Cell-Battery-for-IBM-ThinkPad-T61-14-1-15-15-4-R61-R61i-R61-T61P-R61e-R60-/230775977437?pt=Laptop_Batteries&hash=item35bb51f5dd#ht_1598wt_1410

I am looking for the most capacity I can get.

This looks a bit more smelly, but I really don't have any experience buying batteries for laptops.
Still looking for advice on this.
Possibly the one good thing about this Mac is that it boots up quickly, even without an SSD. It's like 30 seconds, total, and it's completely usable.
Are these people retarded?
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1181217
Maybe these people live on 20 dollars a month and eletricity is expensive or something. Down here it's 11 cents per kw. Meaning my computer is about 10 bucks per month at idle, maybe 13-14 if I game a ton in BF3 where I'm using 650watts.
computers have an off switch???
... :v:
Edit: in other words my computer doesn't get shut off unless:
1. Bad thunderstorm (parents usually make me)
2. Vacation longer then 3 days
3. Required by update or some shit that I can't avoid
4. Power outage makes it go off
I don't reboot my PC, ever.
People say like it's bad for your hard drives or something, but they've been going strong for awhile. My 320GB is 4 years old, my 1TB is 2 years.
The socket/power strip sometimes get overloaded at night (somehow) and shuts itself off.
Every fucking morning i have to spend 5 minutes trying to fucking fix it. I know its my power socket/strip because my monitors are off too (no red light indicating that they are plugged in).
So that pretty much makes it impossible to leave my computer over night.

I don't know much about electricity but if it's a surge protector, something might be tripping it and it's shutting off for safety
Usually I see those kinds of power strips and they have reset buttons on them
there was liquid in my keyboard and pressing m typed a ton of keys, including my clipboard (must have been pressing ctrl+v) no idea how it got there, I was drinking something but not over my keyboard at all, from waht I remember...

I hate restarting, it takes too long to shut down "omg steam isnt responding, wat should we do?"
stfu and close it? why isn't there a setting for that in windows somewhere? it I tell you to restart, just do it. I wouldn't tell you to restart if I had an unsaved document open, or anything.
Also why do programs take so long to close after they crash? if I just go into the task manager and kill the process, it's instant. That's how I want it to behave when I close it.
I just keep my computer in sleep mode when I am not using it. There is really no reason to keep it running all the time.

A good portion of that is sleep time due to school/social activities. The only time I need to re-boot is due to puush creating un-deletable ghost files on my desktop.

Its just really weird because the only thing that is on that strip that is powered on is my computer at night. I always turn my monitors off when I go to bed, and almost never have any resource intensive programs open at night.
My phone has an uptime of 930 hours :hehe:

Why don't you get a new one? They're like, $10-20 everywhere.

I'm going to leave my computer plugged into the socket overnight.
Only because I'm not allowed to buy another one unless I rule out everything.
Makol's pulsing your power socket
I know some of you guys find Nyan Cat really annoying but I just couldn't pass up posting this
