So is it a neat server?
Yes. [editline]8th May 2012[/editline]
Should I go for a second HD6850 or a HD7850?
Second 6850. 7850 isn't much of an improvement. [editline]8th May 2012[/editline] But later on if you want to upgrade you'd have to buy an entirely new GPU. So if you think two 6850s will last long enough, go for it.
Is crossfire HD6850 possible on 450w powersupply, brand is XFX.
Anybody here with a spare left leg? I would like to get a new or better one. Current hurts like a bitch. The pain goes away temporarily sometimes, but keeps coming back after using it for a while on a bit higher speed (Running instead of walking) [editline]8th May 2012[/editline] Pro english skills, I see. He is an estonian Youtuber, makes reviews etc. So, in theory if I do this, could I get monetizing my videos too?
Never heard him talk in English before. His accent is hilarious. :v: Can't stop laughing. I wonder if I sound the same.
Is crossfire HD6850 possible on 450w powersupply, brand is XFX.
I wouldn't recommend trying.
Dammit automerge
Is crossfire HD6850 possible on 450w powersupply, brand is XFX.
Not really the best idea. [editline]8th May 2012[/editline] I would just save and get a higher grade gpu.
Got a new phone out of Apple.
Just spent my night replacing a friends mobo and PSU. I must say the ASUS Sabertooth line of motherboards are rather nice.
I think I'll be replacing my phone with an iPhone. iPhones with broken screens are cheap and I've replaced digitizers before, so it's possible. Cheap, easy and available sounds like a great solution to me.
Got a new phone out of Apple.
Daaamn, good job.

Just bullshited 2.5 pages of my 15 page final project for English 12 that is due tomorrow. Success!
You guys know how I tend to write just huge walls of text? I got paid to literally do that today. I mean *literally* literally, not figuratively-literally. I had a wall. I filled it with text. The end. The client wanted us to have our system done by July, since there's some potential customer schools who want to install it over summer break. There is absolutely no way we could meet this deadline - even with an infinite number of coders, we'd still be working on this at least into August. Our own first schedule put us into *next* *year* - after trimming out a shitload of stuff, we currently anticipate a November release, and even that is an extremely aggressive schedule. The meeting room at our office is painted with some weird stuff that essentially turns the walls themselves into a whiteboard. To try to convince the client just how big this project actually is, we were ordered to write down, in full detail, the to-do list for the project. It filled *both* *walls* with cramped text, and then filled an actual wall-sized whiteboard we brought in to handle the overflow. It took four people three hours to fill it all, and even then we didn't actually get *everything* (towards the end we started getting lazy, putting down "user interface" as an entire step and such). I have pics, but since it has a lot of "confidential" information on it, I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to post it without breaking NDA.

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes in photoshop/paint.net/gimp etc.

Maybe later, if I have nothing better to do.

Holy shit given the flackback, you'd think Machinima spilled oil all over people's children. There is going to be a mass exodus and I'm jumping on board. I'm in the process of moving to the Curse Network. They pay 50% more, you can cancel at any time, they are a small network and have such a small group of channels that each one gets attention. I emailed youtube@curse.com. Within 5 minutes I got an email back with the reps skype name. Within 10 minutes I was talking with a representative of the the network about details of their contract. With 30 minutes we had a drafted email to send to machinima with pretty surefire ways of making sure I can cancel my contract. I sent an email to machinima asking what they think about all the hubbub about this perpetual clause. I'll wait for a response.
All versions of the GIMP UI suck.
Windows GIMP is fine. Linux GIMP is fine. I actually prefer those to Photoshop, mainly because I'm more used to them. And I've heard the new major release (FUCKING FINALLY!) is much better. But the Mac port fucking sucks. Inconsistent key combinations (it uses Ctrl-KEY instead of Command-KEY - you'd think that would make things easier, but somehow it doesn't), it ignores any mouse clicks used to focus a window (including toolboxes!), and the file menu makes no sense by Mac standards.
All versions of the GIMP UI suck.
2.8 still doesn't have CYMK. But now there is a single window mode and dockable toolboxes. Which is great if you don't have photoshop but need to edit stuff.
