I guess it's because Google's slogan is "Don't be evil", and this is pretty evil imo.

It seems like that on the surface. But then it sort of makes sense that they would have that sort of thing in it
You are essentially giving them permission to look at and use the information you upload. Then you have to realize the functionality that Google Drive has. When you upload documents, they can translate the information to their own format if you choose to do so. Which requires your permission to "look" at the document, and then modify it. And that's just one little feature.
Its basically just legal stuff to cover their asses.

Still, it does give them the ability to do other things with it, which we can't confirm or deny if they are doing anything else.
While a failsafe for them, it's a hole in the floor for us.
Man, my mind is burnt out.
Munsterberg and Metz up in this bitch. Film Theory is a cunt.

What exactly do you study in your film course? Or whatever it is you do, I forget what course it was.
I have to leave for class in 20minutes if I'm going to be on-time and I need like 40% more shit.
Fuck.
Hey computer literate people what brands do you recommend for PSU and motherboards with 1155 socket?
I have to leave RIGHT now for class, but I'm going to wait 10 minutes or so and shit out this train of thought and deal with being about half a page short.
Oh gudzzz
brt did you procrastinate??

Again, I'm not in highschool. I can fail a course for not using 12 point font.
Also I just shit out pages ofamazing work using quotes and I managed to connect to completely different film theories together. HOLY SHIT I'M A WIZARD.
A+ material here
you could always pull a makol and pay random people on the internet via world of warcraft game cards to do work for you

Stick a TrueCrypt container on there.
Sure Google, you can have my Pseudo-Random noise. Knock yourselves out.
Just found out my flash drive can be encrypted with AES-128, but you have to use a program to do it, aka I can't do it in school. I'll just make it encrypted using TrueCrypt
Any word on when more Nvidia 6xx cards are coming out? I want to buy something like a 670 or 660 depending on the price.

I know, that's why I asked when more were coming out.

To use the portable version of TrueCrypt, you need administrator rights. Do you have that in school?

I've been looking at this, however.

People have been saying I've been sending spam from my Gmail.
I check my Gmail, nothing in Sent. Spam contains a few bounced spam messages and spam sent to myself. I have two-step authentication and I haven't received a text message, so my Gmail isn't comprised. I also followed Gmail's security checklist, but I already met all the checks, so I didn't have to do anything. I reported the message that "I" sent to myself to Gmail. That's done.
The mail headers said it was sent through hotmail's server, so I log in to my Windows Live ID. My account was temporarily blocked and I had to verify myself via text message. I go to Hotmail (which I never use, since my Live ID is the same as my Gmail address), and we have a winner. 32 in sent items.
Nothing on my profile was changed, nor was my password, so I'm led to believe my Live ID itself isn't compromised either. Although spoofing emails isn't hard, they did somehow get some of my contacts. What the fuck?
All of this made me realize, however, how bad Microsoft's security is. Their password policy is still shit: passwords are still capped at around 16 characters. They don't offer two-step authentication or any other form of authentication. The text messages they send is only used for password recovery as far as I know. The other 'security' method is the infamous "Security Question and Answer".
And aside from that, why do I even HAVE Hotmail in the first place? If my Windows Live ID was a @live.com or an @hotmail.com one, then I can understand, but with Gmail? Really? I can't deactivate it either, not without closing my entire Live ID, which I can't since I'm using it. Just not for Hotmail.
So I turned in what I thought was a fantastic paper actually.
But when I walked in, it was empty. Turns out he simply handed out the test for next week today and let people go. I went to his office, dropped off my paper and headed out to work. Turns out my boss was taking us out to lunch that moment. We went to my favourite sandwich shop too.
:D

I love those "everything went better than expected" moments.
I'm really hoping for them this week and next.

Sorry for the bad post. I've been lurking this thread since V. 16 or so but it seems I still have more to do. I promise that next time will be better. :3

The only bad thing was the ghost page thing. No one cares about it anymore, And some people got annoying over at at times
At least imo
