I wonder how long it is until a Facepuncher's neighbour gets arrested because of CP being downloaded on their network...
If anyone on Facepunch is following the OP's instructions then its going to be a very long time.
lol. Yeah, but the instructions are trivial if you know what you're doing.

Baha, sorry guys.
It's all the information I received from the class, honestly don't know why I'm getting so many dumbs for it. I just thought it was neat and wanted to share.
Those with intelligence and some motivation can read extra documentation or watch a YouTube video.
what kind of fucked up place still uses data caps
jesus christ i mean seriously if your isp does its time for change, shit's dumb as shit
Welcome to Australia. And many other countries. Apparently, some ISPs do it in America too.
I've somewhat debated about setting up a RADIUS server on the old laptop myself.
Pro-tip: Forget it.
If you do figure out an easy way, do tell.
And... Who didn't know this?
How can you be on a /31 subnet? That means all bits in the first 3 octets are for the network, and the last octet is NNNNNNNH, and since you can only have 1 or 0 as a bit, both of those should be reserved for the network id and the broadcast, yeah?
I'm an idiot with math, edited it to a /30 :saddowns:
Correct. There's a good chance he's also not using "Windows authentication", but rather something like PEAP-MSCHAPv2
Honestly I have no idea, it's some fancy 1-2-3 step box that's hooked up to a domain.
Back in a million years cracking my neighbour's 63 character WPA2-PSK password.
A million years won't cut it.
A million years won't cut it.
I don't think you understand friend, I have two PCs doing this shit.
Those computers will rust and rot before they finish their task.
Those computers will rust and rot before they finish their task.
Really? You think I believed that two PCs would finish the task in my lifetime when one would take a million years? :downsrim:
I'm trying to imply that your joke sucked right from the beginning.

Does that make it host a local radius server? Because otherwise that won't work. (or might be reconfigured to regular WPA2)
No, you point it to a radius server. Example being something like 192.168.1.153.
[editline]24th April 2011[/editline]
That said, I suppose I could try installing freeradius on the router, but I'd need to plug in a flash drive since I really doubt there's room.
How's wireless been treating you on Tomato? I'm using DD-WRT and it dies randomly for a bit sometimes.
Wow, right when I spent a year cracking with aircrack-ng...
...and got a wireless router (finally)
Type 192.168.10.1 or 192.168.0.1 depending on your wireless router, see what MAC addresses are on the list that SHOULD NOT BE THERE, Ban them. Done!
BUT WAIT! They will probably change their MAC Addresses!

Never had any issues with it.
Don't you need a compatible Wireless Network Card to do this?
Don't you need a compatible Wireless Network Card to do this?
It has been stated already that the Realtek card on the slide (which you should have read) or Atheros cards work well.
I have hacked into all of my neighbours wifi!
Seriously.
There were two open ones that I happen to torrent off of for a good year or so xD

Yeah, that's what I figured. Basically Joe Sixpack isn't going to be using 802.1x any time soon.

Actually, I just tried out http://www.tekradius.com/download.html.
Joe sixpack can enjoy username password wireless easily without a linux box!
I am so going to give that a try, would be so awesome if I could authenticate with AD users.

You posted this thread on Facepunch and you didn't expect that calibre of response?!

Testing now
Aww fuck I just remembered that the device has be in the domain for that. I think. You need that to set the group policy.
Damn it.
Meh, I suppose I could join all my machines onto the domain.
We'll see.
Edit:
I guess that's why it's called WPA2-Enterprise.
I still don't know how it works exactly. I've heard that it changes the key every minute or so, whatever's configured, but don't know if that's true.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
