I can vouch for that thermal paste. I've purchased it and it works great. No need to spend 8 bucks on thermal paste for two tubes.

Temps are getting above 80c pretty easily, I think it's the crappy stock thermal paste.

Really? My i5 barely hits 70c after 8+ hours of gaming, and that's with the stock fan/thermal paste.

I don't know how you can stand to play a game for 8+ hours.

I can only do 2 hours max.

I have a HAF 922, so it wasn't the airflow. :)

I got the Hyper 212+ today and installed it. Let's just say I am very pleased. When I removed the stock cooler the thermal paste was only covering the center of the processor, about 30% of it wasn't covered by any compound, which would explain the temperatures. Now it won't go above 50c (is there a such thing as TOO cool? :]) while maxing out Crysis Warhead :)

I also got MSI Afterburner and adjusted my gtx 470 fan settings (what an improvement over the drivers' fan settings) and overclocked it a bit, and may overclock my i5 750 later, but I don't really see any need to.
