Looks great on my screen, Maybe just reduce the alpha on the wrench a bit to make it less prominent (yet still visible)?
or make it smaller so it doesn't intersect the text (as if part of the FP logo)
I think you are oin teh right lines with that design though :D - It's small compact to be overlaid onto images of parts, yet the Logo (With wrench) makes sure the point gets across even when scaled down for said overlays
