Take another computer you have access to the bios to, pull the hdd on the laptop out and out it in, and run ophcrack live.
The only thing that could prevent this is if they were paranoid enough to encrypt the sam database (seen it happen before).

I already found the administrative powers, and I'm only going to 'Run as...' things, not giving me full admin powers,
The guys over at Hak5 put together an NTLM rainbow table that's gotta be upwards of 300GB by now. Just grab the hashes for the administrator account and run them through the tables. You should get a result.
If you can't figure out how to get to the hash files for stored passwords, you probably aren't qualified to run anything as administrator anyways. Just sayin'.
