Dont laptops come with 4670's now?
Laptops come with 260M now.
I have a 4670. I nearly hung myself when I became more graphics-savvy.
What's wrong with you guys, I agree that the OP should build a computer but the 4670 is still a good card. It's pretty much going to play any game you throw at it with medium-high settings.

Yeh, its good, and i would recommend it to anyone on a tight budget, but $900 = 5xxx
I have a 4670. I nearly hung myself when I became more graphics-savvy.
Why is everyone hating on 4670? *reads OP You cannot play Crysis with this, maybe on medium/high on 1024x768. I bought it from Newegg, and cannot wait to try it out on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare2, Left 4 Dead 2, and ARMA. 4670 can get you good FPS on mainstream games like the ones I plan to play. BTW: Build your own computer--it's so easy, your grandma can do it.
Here you are. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=12863832
Here you are. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=12863832
OP get this.
OP get this.
I think I might take this. Is it missing anything, maybe like a fan or something. And I might get another case. Do I need to be picky/ look out for anything while doing this?
The processor comes with a fan.
The processor comes with a fan.
So the computer(that I thank you for putting together) is all set if I were to order it (other than monitor and keyboard/mouse)?
I think I might take this. Is it missing anything, maybe like a fan or something. And I might get another case. Do I need to be picky/ look out for anything while doing this?
All items come with the fans included, unless you want to do some serious overclocking you won't need any better/extra fans. [editline]10:08PM[/editline]
So the computer(that I thank you for putting together) is all set if I were to order it (other than monitor and keyboard/mouse)?
And a monitor but yes, it is ready.
Yes, the 4670 can play Crysis, I had everything at maximum (Dx9), and it was easily playable. A little laggy, yes, but still playable. Having said that, Dragon Age brings it to it's knees with Frame Buffer Effects or whatever the option is called enabled.

I will be doing alot of recording maybe on crysis so do I need to "overclock"?
This is where I need help, can someone (in english) explain overclocking.
Overclocking is basically pushing the hardware above its limits, this creates more heat and can possible break the hardware.
Would I need to it run Crysis and record it with fraps?
Would I need to it run Crysis and record it with fraps?
No.

wow this guy is polite
If you don't know how to build a computer etc.. then i wouldnt go near OverClocking..
Overclocking isn't exactly hard. You just need to be wise about it. Like when setting the voltages, if it says +25 and you just set it up all the way to +600 then yeah, you're crazy but just be careful about it.
dude, if you built your own computer for $1000 you wouldn't NEED to overclock
