.
This was by far the least painful reinstall I've experienced. Didn't have to jump through hoops to do a clean install with my upgrade disc like Vista.
Not gonna uninstall the RC yet, I'm halfway through a huge movie and don't want to risk breaking my plugins :ohdear:
K-Lite codec pack would fix that, my friend.
So, has anybody here done a Windows 7 party? Based on the video, it sounds really fun.

That's a lie because the installers are identical.

Unless he's talking about the fact you can use the upgrade as a full install without the hassle without the double-install method.

I got the upgrade copy of win7 and I just popped it in and hit clean install, no need for a double-install or anything.

My point exactly...despite the error in my post.

Oh I see, thought you were saying with the vista disc you could do that but not with the windows 7 one now.

Yes, that's what I meant.

I didn't get a "clean-install" option. I only had upgrade and custom, which is confusing.

Well custom install then, either way with just two options it isn't hard to figure out the one that gives you a clean install.

Oh
"It's not gonna have the problems Windows Vista had!"
Bullshit, Apple, your OS is shittier.
I'd like to go ahead and say inb4 windows 7 apple commercials. heh.
The windows 7 Apple commercials are mostly bull. Newer operating systems usually do not have the same problems as old ones. Their probably 90% new errors that are found from basic testing.
