You should start ignoring those tears, srsly.
Also framerate can be 120, 180 and 240 at 60 hz without frame tearing.
But I think it would be near impossible to keep it at the specified frame rates without fluctuation.
I never noticed tearing in my games until I read so much about it on FP, then I looked for it and now I can't help but see it :v:
Personally I never saw much difference between v-sync on and off in my games (with regards to "smoothness"), so I just leave it on all the time to prevent tearing.
