All my screens: http://imgur.com/o0xrL.png Fuckload of apps(I love Apps2SD): http://imgur.com/BIQFQ.png
you're just wasting memory having 5 home screens and only really using 2 [img_thumb]http://i48.tinypic.com/30js9qf.jpg[/img_thumb]
[img_thumb]http://www.cubeupload.com/files/f8c400snap20100611174504.png[/img_thumb] HTC Evo To the people with any kind of task killer installed, you don't need one. Android is built around putting your applications to sleep in the background for a reason, it will kill things automatically if you need the memory.
Just wondering, what clock is that? Could you provide an APK?
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6580494/home%20screen.jpg[/img_thumb] the first day i got open home.. its no longer like this because I am reflashing now with cyanogen to get 2.1 it was good like that until i put on a few more apps and it got so darn slow
Don't use Cyanogen's 2.1 ROM, it's WAY too slow. Use SuperE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=622613 1.6-like speed with the function of 2.1, everything works, and great battery life. And use the ADW Launcher as a home screen replacement, extremely fast and good looking.
How simple is it to create a live wallpaper? i'm picking up either an EVO or an Incredible today (or monday, depends on how shit goes down), and I already have an idea of something I'd like to make, kind of simple, but I'm not a programmer so I'd like to know what I'm in for. it'd be a sort of bokeh type thing with those floaty little water particle things, all they would do is slowly scroll from one side to another (ie left to right or right to left, maybe at a slight angle) but look all floaty and stuff, getting blurrier as they go back. i imagine i can just layer images created in photoshop for the blur portion to not make it quite as resource heavy, but i'm curious as to what i'm in for if i set out on this. [editline]09:57AM[/editline] sort of like the new XMB in the ps3, just without the plasma arc, and have them all over the screen, perhaps not as populace/concentrated

Without any kind of coding experience it will be pretty hard.

Cyanogen is probably one of the best roms out there. Only reason I'm not running it right now is because I'm waiting for the Cyanogen version based off of 2.2. And yes, I agree, that looks like shit lol
I've got a Moto Droid and I would like to know where you can get the home bar like this:
I've got a Moto Droid and I would like to know where you can get the home bar like this:
Its Launcher Pro.
Sorry CowGuy, this is a blatant rip of yours, but it's just sexy as fuck. I couldn't find the Digital Clock Widget though, it seems to be removed in 2.2. What version are you using?
Am I the only one who thinks this looks like shit?
Well obviosly when you stitch them all together the background is fucked, but it looked better when you just see one screen at once. Im on a different rom now anyway
no it just looked bad
wow i seriously regret getting an iphone now
wow i seriously regret getting an iphone now
I have an Android phone, and as great as it is, I still prefer the iPhone more.
Nothing special, thinking of flashing a new ROM later.
I don't get how you guys with Launcher Pro can live without the status bar. No battery meter? No clock? No notifications? I don't get it.
No, I know HOW to do it, I just don't understand how you can live without the status bar, that thing is so insanely useful, and to just take it away makes Android basically like an iPhone, except worse.
I press menu when I need the status bar. It pops up. I have the five rows per screen option on,need extra space to make it look normal.
I still don't understand you people, oh well. Heres mine!
Could someone make a thread about Android 2.2?
Makes me wish i had a new cellphone
this makes me wish I didn't have a phone with Windows 6.5 :saddowns:
I'm getting the Xperia x10 mini, cuz it's free with my upgrade (Don't worry I'll get a Desire or something next year) But the Xperia is on 1.6 (going to 2.1 in Q4) So what applications should I get, I already know about barcode scanner and I shall get 3G watchdog and if last.fm is available, that too. But what?
What do you mean by hold the wallpaper? When you just put your finger on it and hold it, a pop up or the like appears and shows you the weather? Wouldn't it be much cooler if the weather was shown in the background instead? Similar to how Beautiful Widgets works with their weather parts of the home widget but with the whole background.
Sense is like that isn't it?

Once you are signed in, you enter your card details and when you have purchased the app, it is saved to your google account so you will never have to buy it again
