What size monitor would fit vertically beside a 22"?
19" 4:3 monitor rotated into portrait would be the closest fit for your average 22".
4gb of ddr2 ram
coolermaster v8
another 4870 1gb so i can crossfire
1. Either a dual core for socket 939, or a complete new AM2 set(including cpu, mainboard and ram)
2. A scratch free monitor(raging out isn't good sometimes)
I sold my ancient Socket 939 4800+ X2 for $220 a year ago, it went for so much because it was the last and the fastest socket 939, I advise getting a new motherboard/current processor for the same money.
5870
You don't have to, I know the feeling, lol. I was amazed for some reason when I found out last week that a three finger scroll takes you directly to the bottom of the page, loved that discovery!
Yes, I love that too, it's bad it isn't available in safari.
and 4 finger swipe for exposé, spaces, typinator, google quick search box, jumpcut (clipboard manager) = SUPER smooth workflow.

I guess that really wouldn't be worth so I would take a rack mount server to host all of my miscellaneous programs.
A 5870
The problem isn't the money, but that I can't find a single fucking 5870 in my whole country.

Why rack-mounted?
Ughh, does XFX have some customer support line I can call? They have this bullshit ticket system like steam has.
What size is your current one?
I just sent off my busted Q9550's to Intel for replacement :D Good o'l Intel.
Desk is like, 130x60 or something, in cm.
Monitor is 22"
Why rack-mounted?
I have a few old machines running things such as ventrilo but would it be so much better to go vertical and keep things interchangeable, it just works so much better.
A better computer
A tablet
A 120GB Xbox hard drive
Once i clean out my rather large shed, im gonna put a server or two in it, and get an ip for the shed, then possibly use it for lan parties.
Larger desk
Case with better cable management
Crossfire motherboard (current is SLI only)
Another 4850
Third monitor
Probably a fan controller, a 64gb SSD to replace my current 80GB bootvol, and maybe upgrade the entire house to Gigabit LAN at the same time.
1. Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P60 or Thermaltake Armor+ LCS
2. Upgrade to i5/i7
3. A second 24"
One of those monitors with amazing picture quality.
Maybe one of those calibrators for it, too.
But right now, priority would be a GPU, since this one is some 3 years old.
1. A lot of hardrive
Rozwell, stop trolling in the Hardware section.
1. The new iPod Touch.
2. i7.
3. An ATi 5870.
4. Matching screens.

Eizo has the best quality, my Eizo Cintiq LCD is amazing, i can't imagine it with a good calibration. The monitors with really accurate colors are not necessarily vivid and often look muted but there is no color washout, perfect for graphic designers.

I just pulled my Zalman six-fan controller out of my system, didn't have any fans that needed it anymore, it's a good fan controller, I recommend it, it's sleek and effective.

Oh I didn't see "changing my g15 for..." I read it as "G15 for 'Daskeyboard'"
Das Keyboard looks great, I'd be tempted to get one if my G15 ever goes out.
