and don't bother with 9800s, look at a 4850/4870
Why shouldn't I choose a 9800? I am kinda on a budget and they looked like a good price and a big step up from my 8600, the 4850 looks quite expensive.
A friend managed to get a 4670 OC'ed to run Hl2 at everything max 24AA 16MSAA 1280x1024 at 45-120Fps, so you could prolly run crysis on a 4670 :D
Sounds nice, but I'm really not in need of something so powerful, I think a 9800 will suit me fine. Plus the 4670 on its own is going to cost me more money than a 9800, new case and 2gb more RAM.
