I've had this since October of 2007, and it's still my main laptop, upgraded to an Atheros wireless card, 4GB of ram, bluetooth added, bigger harddrive, and larger battery. Linux Mint 8 and Windows 7 on dual-boot.

A guy left this one --^ on a seat of the train when he got off with his bike... I guess he forgot it. So I grabbed it, took it home, wiped the drive, and installed Linux on it. It's an amazing laptop for free. :D

Besides, i didn't even notice he left it there until my train stop about 20 minutes later. When it came to my train stop, I was the only one within 20 meters of it, so I casually grabbed the laptop bag and thought nothing of it.
I'm strongly thinking of selling it for a netbook. :)

My sister has that laptop it is very nice. it runs a bit warm but I have never had a problem with it.
