I live by this rule:
I find, I keep. No returns. Example: If I find a wallet, I'll take and keep the money. The wallet can sit in a mud puddle for all I fucking care, and I don't give two shits who it belonged to either. If they lost it in the first place, they deserve to get ripped off. I feel no remorse for a guy who sets his laptop down to get his bicycle and backpack off the train and leaves the laptop on the train's seat. He obviously wasn't too concerned that it was missing, or he would have tried to chase down the train to get it back.

My school doesnt allow anything but there stuff on it. Background programs etc. if i change the background to something else i cant use it
