Thanks to the both of ya's. Ill be messing around with Opera tonight ^__^
I'd have to say after testing pretty much all the browsers available, Opera is the best with Dolphin coming in second
This swype keyboard is so fucking fast and amazing.
Every GO app.
Opera Mini is made for not-so powerful phones like mine, or if you want to save as much internet data as possible. It renders all pages for you. So a dynamic swooshy page would turn out to be static. Whereas Opera Mobile is a full web browser for more powerful phones. I'm not entiery sure all of its features but I know it renders the page on the phone.
Opera has the best mobile browser I have used. I use Mobile for when I'm on wifi, and Mini for when I'm on 3G. Also, what is a good, free keyboard? Swype is not available to me.
Swype is not available to me.
Sure it is. http://beta.swype.com/
Yessssss Swype has been updated
Yessssss Swype has been updated
These new key combinations are pretty fucking useful.
I fucking love Swype
Damnit I have an SGS 2 so it was pre-installed, which means the beta won't work.
Try out TouchPal Curve, it has potential to be a real Swype killer.
Just root and uninstall Swype if it came on your phone, the install the beta.
I hate how swype changes the keyboard layout on my phone when using foreign keyboards.
What's the best automatic & TRUE 2-way sync app for Android (that includes renaming and deletion of files and folders INSIDE the synced folders)? I have 2 folders on my PC that I want synchronized with another 2 folders on my Android phone without me having to manually tell either my PC or my smartphone to-do so. Though it's only necessary for them to sync if they're on the same Wi-Fi network, syncing over the internet is waaaaay overkill for me, thus no things like DropBox please (they also don't offer enough storage on their free plan anyway) Obviously free is preferred, or at-least with a trial version that isn't too gimped down so I can actually try it out properly. (I know there's a 15 minute refund period, but that's not enough for me to fully try it out)
Anyone else with Swiftkey having it crash on them all of the time? Mine has been lately..
Anyone else notice that swype has virtually no words in its dictionary? I mean, seriously? It didn't even have 'text' or 'flashlight'!
Anyone else notice that swype has virtually no words in its dictionary? I mean, seriously? It didn't even have 'text' or 'flashlight'!
It does on mine: text, flashlight. Sure you selected the right language?

I'm sure I tried Swype ages ago and it was shitty I'm trying it now and it hasn't got a word wrong yet [editline]30th August 2011[/editline] Holy fuck it's good

The Samsung G2S Keyboard has the period/full stop key in such an annoying place, I always hit it when going for the space.

I can't live without PowerAMP. Wikidroyd is one of the best offline wikipedia app you can get, and it's free. Too bad the articles are somewhat outdated, but still very usable.
Is there an app which lets you backup texts to the cloud, and view them through a web interface? It seems like there should be a million apps that do this but no. Treasuremytext seems to do this but it looks shitty and I tried it and it said Activation failed with no explanation

No idea if you can view them there or what, but it would be silly if you couldn't.
Handcent seems to do exactly what I need, there's a sub fee though but not too much [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] Oh wait, it's $4.99 a year, I have no problem with that then
