I do love the connection here at my university. Although, this is my home network (I'm still totally happy with that!) We pay 65 DKK a month for it
And here I am hoping for speeds of 76 down and some of you have got >100 down.

I have At&t u-verse which I will be switching from. Biggest scam ever. U-verse is supposed to be fiber optic, but they did nothing to my previous DSL hardware and basically ran fiber optic to the line outside and somehow connected it to my current hardline. A DSL cable literally cannot transfer that amount of data without a huge data bottleneck as far as i know(I don't claim to be an expert) Needless to say, for the same price I could have decent cable broadband and actually get 40-50mbps down.
Things like U-Verse move the end of the fibre closer to you, but not inside your house. And the less copper involved, the higher your possible bandwidth. That way they could get 50mbps to what is just a phone line on your end. It does usually require a different modem though (won't only be slower without it, but just won't work) and this speed is absolutely terrible. Something is wrong there.

With a town 10~ minutes away that can get speeds of 70Mbps upwards and a city 30~ minutes away that can get 100Mbps+. I need to move.
At a friends house in Melbourne, Ha, hahaha It's nothing :v:
Paying $63 a month for "15/2" and this is the shit I usually get. I got better latency to a town 150+ miles away, FFS. THANKFULLY, there is a savior in the form of a local ISP called Plateau. https://plateaufiber.com/ Speeds and prices comparable to Google Fiber? In MY dusty little town that tends to get buried in tumble weeds? Yes, please.
What exactly are you waiting for?

We used to get 30 Mbps but eh whatever, comcast will be here soon and we can have 100 Mbps greatness.
5500 JPY (about $53-55 USD) a month for 200Mbps down and 100Mbps up, baby. And I could even upgrade to 1Gbps at no extra cost if I really wanted to, I think.
What exactly are you waiting for?
For them to call me back, which seeing as it's been at least 2 days I think isn't going to happen. Gonna call them again tomorrow.
why
"it gets better" they said then it got better we're looking into getting a proper adsl connection instead of the 4g thing we have now
Not bad~
Still waiting for Fibre Optic :words:
I use to be on a 3Mbps/?Mbps connection, later upgraded to a 10Mbps/0.5Mbps which was okay but it was up and down a lot later on. Lots happier with it now.
