• Help me choose a MBP 1st or 2nd gen

I am going for a refurb MBP unibody in the 1k range. I'm trying to decide between the first and second generation unibodies. It seems like the 1st gens 2.4ghz is marginally faster than a 2.26 but it still might be an older slower model processor. I can't really find any detailed information on them. I heard the second generation unibodies have improved displays, and am leaning towards it because maybe apple worked out some of kinks from the from first one. I always have been a little weary of buying any 1st gen product. Naturally a 2nd gen is going to have ironed out problems in the first, I wouldn't buy a Macbook personally but I would always go for the latest generation, since Apple like to throw something new/improved in with every generation.
Get the 2nd gen. It's a 'macbook pro' unlike the first one, which means it will have a 7hour battery, WAY and i mean WAY better screen. The screens of the MACBOOK unibody were awful. Definitely go for the MBP, It wins hands down.

Damn those refurbs are out.. Anyone know how long it usually takes for more to pop up?
