Not too long ago I had to fix some ones thinkpad and I think it was exactly the same as OP's, except it was absolutely battered and some dick of a child decided to smear chocolate all over it. Seeing it made me die a little inside.

I love old tech

My IBM Thinkpad 600E. Yours is not 12 years old because I think mine is 10. It has 8gb of ram and either 64 or 128mb of ram. Runs windows 95 fine. That's all it can do though. She doesn't play nice with linux. [IMG]http://imgkk.com/i/nsf3.jpg[/IMG] Also if you want internet on that baby you're going to have to buy a pcmcia ethernet adapter. my moms' work gave her this exact laptop, its pretty nifty considering its pretty old.

So, how well does the HL run?

I have an older one laying around here somewhere, I haven't booted it in ages since everyone forgot the password. Pics will go up sometime this century.

Play old games on it that don't work well on newer computer.
