most Wii games are shit and quite a few are buggy, in my experience.
every console will get these, it's just the wii gets the most because it's the most common due to being cheapest and marketed at families
plus it misses out on a lot of multiplatform games that go to the other main three because of how different it's controls are
You actually can play Steam games without Steam. Go into the game folder in steamapps and run it from there, simple really. If it's a Source game you'll need to create a shortcut or use command line that uses the
-game "path-to-directory-with-gameinfo.txt"
parameter.

Offline mode is a piece of shit. It only works when you are online. Wtf is up with that?

Awesome. Thanks for the tip!
just tried it, and it works :aaa:
It really should be less laggy when ingame, at least. Like the old non-ubershiny version.

What? Why wouldn't you just set your status to "offline"? I assumed they were different, seems weird to have to ways of doing the same thing.

Op uses a computer running windows 2000, it all makes sense!

Pros: Jackshit and updates that the game itself should download the next time you play like WoW does. It is free.

OP is doing something really wrong, I have no problem at all with Steam.
