I feel for you :( The last minutes are insane. Also, is this the go-to root/modifying stuff toolkit for Nexus phones? http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
*high pitched screaming* [t]http://i.imgur.com/MB7f4ho.jpg[/t]
nice knife
take the knife then draw a line on the screen from top right to bottom left watch the world burn
I remember the day my Nexus 4 arrived in the store. Was halfway there to the shop, then my mum realized she had forgotten to grab the receipt off the table at home. Instead of going back home to get it, we had to go home, via getting a suit for the school ball coming up. That took two hours to do it. It was the best feeling to finally get the phone though.
I remember getting my potato out of the box...
I remember getting my potato out of the box...
Hey, I felt pretty good at the time Wildfire's weren't AS shit when they were released, and it was my first android device :v:
*high pitched screaming* [t]http://i.imgur.com/MB7f4ho.jpg[/t]
I don't think I have been this jealous in my entire life.
nice knife
Thanks, it's a Böker Magnum Shadow. Pretty damn useful, and although knife enthusiasts would probably rate it as a "mediocre piece of shit", I love it. [editline]28th March 2013[/editline]
take the knife then draw a line on the screen from top right to bottom left watch the world burn
You're nuts D:

Best cfw for Wildfire/Buzz (not S)? On CyanMobile atm
Only after having the N4 for several hours in my hands, I finally realized just how oversaturated the Galaxy S2 screen is.
Only after having the N4 for several hours in my hands, I finally realized just how oversaturated the Galaxy S2 screen is.
That's a far gap judgement though because the N4 is atrociously under saturated. The S2 is too high but comparing it to an iPhone 5 gives a better idea of how much it is.
I knew you'd reply to that :v:
I knew you'd reply to that :v:
He only just beat me too it, you'd have got it from either one of us :P
You're not gonna make me hate the phone though :v:
I remember letting out a high pitched squee when I first held my nexus 7, such a step up from my Desire HD :v:
*high pitched screaming* [t]http://i.imgur.com/MB7f4ho.jpg[/t]
did you manage to get the new one http://www.theverge.com/2013/3/28/4157304/google-nexus-4-design-tweaks-rubber-nubs
Back in android thread v4 I was complaining how my SGS2's camera refused to work and would always crash on startup. Five minutes later the gallery app would crash. Well, its taken some time, but I finally told tasked to kill the gallery app on camera startup and my camera is now in full working order.
This is wait is really making me anxious. 2:30pm here and I've never had a delivery past 12. Of course this is the first from UPS, usually it's from Purolator.
did you manage to get the new one http://www.theverge.com/2013/3/28/4157304/google-nexus-4-design-tweaks-rubber-nubs
Not with the nubs. I have rev11, manufactured on 17th January 2013 in Korea. CPU speed is Fast. [editline]28th March 2013[/editline] Also, apparently the nubs don't help much, if at all, and it looks better without them.
HOLY FUCKING X-PHONE, BATMAN! I really hope this is accurate. [editline]28th March 2013[/editline] Customizable colors, materials (including carbon fiber), and internal storage. Possible connection to the Android Smartwatch (do I really want to pay for the pebble now?).
I feel bad for Pebble and the Pebble devs. They were the first to bring a good smartwatch, only to get absolutely steamrolled by Apple Watch, Samsung Watch and maybe even Google Watch.
He only just beat me too it, you'd have got it from either one of us :P
Recovering from surgery and I still come complain about android phone displays. Maybe I should rethink what I'm doing with my life. [editline]28th March 2013[/editline]
HOLY FUCKING X-PHONE, BATMAN! I really hope this is accurate.
Do you have some vested interest in Motorola Mobility succeeding? They've done nothing truly exciting for a long time, and this is no different. Having different colours and two models with different materials for the casing is not "customization". Nokia and Samsung already offer many colours, and having different materials is just offering different devices with the same internal specs. It's not revolutionary or anything of the sort.
I feel bad for Pebble and the Pebble devs. They were the first to bring a good smartwatch, only to get absolutely steamrolled by Apple Watch, Samsung Watch and maybe even Google Watch.
third party devs have really done a lot to make it even cooler than it is out of the box. I really think an android smartwatch would be overkill and over-priced... I just want some noticications and an alarm and a battery that lasts a long time. I'm likely to plug in the pebble once a week, it is subtle, it looks nice, it's got the e-paper that's contrasted well (not a touch screen). I can see it being better than the others (which are likely to be overkill and twice the price).
holy fucking shit it's a miracle the play store is selling in-stock Nexus 4 bumpers in the UK am I dreaming Edit: I am now poorer than the cost of my socks but it was fucking worth it
Why the shit does a bumper cost £16?

I know people disagree with this, but if Google doesn't show the fuck up with Moto, Android is gonna fade into Galaxies and Kindles and everything else. Google has to take command of Android through Moto, or they're going to lose android alltogether. And I've liked motorola since the Droid X. It was amazing. The Maxx is awesome as well (its basically the way long-life smartphones should be done). Their hardware is also some of the most well-built stuff I've ever held in my hand. I'm not a real "fanboy," per-se, but I really want them to do well for Google, android, and the market as a whole.
A 3300mAh battery isn't how long life smartphones should be done. Having optimized software that doesn't suck and getting the same battery life with 1400-1500mAh is how it should be done.
How about both?
Doesn't work when consumers want thinner and thinner devices that charge really fast. If a company thinks from the viewpoint of an enthusiast, they will fall. The general consumer's desires is what needs to be targeted.

Battery tech isn't there yet and "optimizing" the software while still skinning the fuck out of it would prolong the update cycle even more. I don't know if you experienced the Maxx on Gingerbread, but that fucker would go 8 hours of my use (which is heavy/moderate to very heavy) and I'd get home with 50% left. If motorolas software division hadn't fucked the dog with ICS, it could have run just as well. And the phone, while a bit big (not so much in the latest iterations), is very comfortable. Feels a hell of a lot better than any of the latest samsung devices I've felt.
