I put my phone on the pouch that I got for it to prevent it from moving with the charging cable pulling it.
How is it ridiculous? You have Google working to cripple or outright remove their services from Microsoft's platform, and you put the blame with Microsoft for doing the same to Google with SmartGlass and Photosynth? Give me a break. It's purely retaliatory and if Google supported their services on WP8 Microsoft would put their services on Android. If you honestly think its Microsoft's fault you obviously don't get business. Rolling over and supporting a company actively trying to fuck you is not a good business strategy. This is the second time you've responded to an argument of mine with an empty statement like "that's ridiculous" or "the carriers just do it to make more money". How about some substance if you're going to refute a statement? [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] Most people don't sync with Android phones, they just drag and drop music which is honestly a lot better. But if you do want it, look into Doubletwist. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] Never said, implied, or mentioned anything like that. The basis of my argument is that Google creating conflict between the companies by not supporting Microsoft is what led to Microsoft not supporting android as a retaliatory measure. Business wise supporting google is just not a good decision, because then Android has Google and Microsoft services while Windows Phone just has the latter.
So I won't have a issue dragging on the m4a songs I have got through iTunes? If there isn't a compatibility issue then I am sold.

Anyone got any extended-battery suggestions for the i9100? I honestly don't mind if the phone like, doubles in thickness, as long as the battery lasts a good while. Only problem is that all the bloody extended "~3500mAh" batteries I can find on sites like Amazon(.co.uk, might actually get shipping to Finland from there) are those stupid ultra-crap Chinese batteries that are basically like 2 600-800mAh batteries glued to each other.
The super cheap chinese ones are almost always fake, and doesn't have that capacity listed.
Which is why I'm not going to be buying any of them.
I looked around onto some forums and found that a lot of the batteries you could buy with like 4000mAH are all fakes.
I might go for a charging case, seems like a good idea since it would then also protect the phone a bit, in case of, well, me happening.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Klh2GjG.png[/t] trying out buzz launcher it's pretty neat but once again i might go with functionality over looks (Nova) also i didn't manage to get any pre-made homescreens to work properly
I'll give this a try...
So I won't have a issue dragging on the m4a songs I have got through iTunes? [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] It even has the album art, which is nice.
So anybody have some good apps and games I should get for my new Nexus 4?
tasker swiftkey evernote
Have swiftkey and whats the difference with evernote and Google Keep? Any others
aw man tasker is now $2.49 instead of $1.99! damn google putting a hold causing me not to be able to buy the app for sale price.
Have swiftkey and whats the difference with evernote and Google Keep? Any others
Evernote just does more. Keep is for taking quick notes. Evernote will let you do bullet lists, indentions, number lists, bold, underlining. With Keep, think "get milk". With Evernote, think intricate class notes. whichever suits you. I use both.
So I won't have a issue dragging on the m4a songs I have got through iTunes? If there isn't a compatibility issue then I am sold.
Some music apps will have a issue but others will probably be able to play it.

My friend did and it surprisingly doesn't add much thickness
Asdf, tried using Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit to unlock my Nexus 7 but I just couldn't sort out the drivers shit. Fuck it I'll try tomorrow, if anyone wants to give me a quick rundown of what to do it's the JDQ39 4.2.2 Wifi only version and I'm running Windows 7 64bit edition.
I would just do it myself, it's rather easy...
Have swiftkey and whats the difference with evernote and Google Keep? Any others
Keep for super quick stuff, Evernote for complex, long notes with many images, formatting and all sorts of stuff.

[editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] Also I've tried numerous times to use a laptop, a tablet, a phone, etc. for class notes and each time I find myself reaching for the pencil and paper instead. The Noteslate needs to hurry up and not be vaporware.
Evernote's Offline is hilarious, it breaks often forcing you to force close the app and try again, images break, images on the web version sometimes doesn't load at all...
Okay, so I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy S3 tomorrow (not waiting for S4) and its my first run in with Android, and I'd trust facepunch over other random sites. What should every newbie know before fiddling around with more intricate things than just changing the background?
A Reddit user created a functional Google Now themed music player. It's only a beta but works stable enough for normal use. I've been using it for a few minutes and I love it! Hard. Now the app won't start at all. I've tried a reinstall.

If you're talking about rooting an S3, someone here can point you in the right direction. But you can change a lot without even getting close to rooting. Launchers are probably the first real level of UI customization after moving icons and making folders. There are tons of launchers on the play store, and each one has it's own little quirks (some of them are way off the AOSP reservation). Just find one you like, if touchwiz doesn't do it for you. Basically, just have fun with it. Look at themes online, find icon packs you like (you'll need a custom launcher to use icon packs), check out third party messaging apps, get a third party keyboard like swiftkey... Have a ball! And if there's ever a stock app or something you don't like, there's probably a third party solution on the play store, just google it! You can find lists and lists of "Top third party *insert function here* apps" on sites like droidlife, Android police, cnet, engadget, anandtech, android central, etc. Just enjoy the platform. If you want to, make it your own. If you don't wanna worry about it, don't worry about it. Touchwiz is fine for the everyday user :)
This is a bit of a stretch, though is anyone aware of a game similar to this? http://gems3d.com My mom bought an Asus Transformer recently and really likes that game on her laptop.
