Saw someone using their xperia z in the pool today :v:
if I had a water proof phone I'd do it too
Saw someone using their xperia z in the pool today :v:
underwater photos and videos!
I could finally fuel my 24/7 facepunch addiction in the shower!
I was also thinking of getting these. Hopefully there will be some reviews soon
After buying like 3 sets of earphones last year and all of them being shit, I now rely directly on Head-Fi forums if I ever go to buy anything relating to speakers. They recommended the SoundMagic E10s for a cheap IEM and they were right. So much better than Sony's shit earphones. I recommend waiting for a review on Head-Fi before even considering since they know their shit
Since I can't seem to find an Android alternative for the game my mom is addicted to (Gems 3D), I might program a simple 2D version over the summer to keep myself busy outside of work.
TF700 updated to 4.2, I'm digging the fuck out of Dashclock.
now i would be even happier if Netflix and Facebook got a more native UI
first they should fix the multitasking then do a native ui (hi i'm netflix i see you closed me to respond to a google chat well sorry i'm going to close the player)
So much better than Sony's shit earphones.
My EX300's have been through tourtue over 3 years and they still sound great.
My EX300's have been through tourtue over 3 years and they still sound great.
They must be a better model. The clerk in the store I went to suggested the Sony DR-EX14VPs. So much sibilance it hurt to listen to them

Guys I need your help with Cyanogen. Following the Wiki Guide, and after backing up everything in multiple places, I reboot my computer (win8) with the "driver signature detection" or w/e disabled, boot my phone (Galaxy S3) into Download/Fastboot mode, and then connect it Via USB. According to step 3, I need to Install the driver through "Zadig", but the closest thing I can see to my phone in the device list is But, when I click 'Install Driver' it just prompts But If my phone is booted normally, the program lists it as 'SAMSUNG_Android' (twice I may add).
Well ignore that. According to the wiki guide I should run "Zadig.exe" whilst in Download Mode, but I have just tried with it booted normally (Stock ROM) and it is installing the driver normally. Unless I shouldn't be doing this? Can anyone shed any light?
Well, now it is a problem with Heimdall.exe (v1.4rc1) ERROR: Claiming interface failed. Supposedly I should wait till the release of rc2. :suicide: somebody halp pls!
Holy fucking shit, Twitter just went Holo.
And it's ugly as fuck.. [editline]4th April 2013[/editline]
Well, now it is a problem with Heimdall.exe (v1.4rc1) ERROR: Claiming interface failed. Supposedly I should wait till the release of rc2. :suicide: somebody halp pls!
Don't do things not in the wiki.... Seriously, you think you know it better than the cm team themselves? Follow the wiki precisely, and when you get to the driver install part, show us a screenshot of the available usb device options zadig gives you and we'll see if we can help you.
New twitter needs better icons and smaller tabs or The font on the tabs is a bit off but you get the idea

Although since my post, I realized I was in ODIN mode, and had too use the up volume key instead, slight mistake in the Wiki. I installed the driver successfully on GT-I9300 as that is the model of my phone, but heimdall.exe just crashes after I try step 5
heimdall flash --recovery recovery.img --no-reboot

Initializing connection... Detecting device... Claiming interface...
Although I have realized I am staying on step 5 when I have already backed up all my stuff! Unless there is another reason for this?

It's weird that that list says GT-I9300, I don't think it should list that, as the drivers for your device shouldn't be installed yet.
Nexus 4 or S3? I'm leaning towards the S3, but two Nexus 4 owners have told me I should get the Nexus.
And that was when I found out that the Nexus 4 didn't come with headphones. For $20, is that any good?
They seem to be a "Nexus" version of LG QuadBeat headphones that come with the Optimus G package, and those already got some decent ratings. Nothing special, but for the price they seem to be one of the best (price/quality) choices with inline microphone. + very nice build quality and flat cable [editline]4th April 2013[/editline]
Nexus 4 or S3? I love this thing so much.
The HTC One will arrive between the 24th and 26th of April. Has anyone else ordered it? I'll send you a 3D picture of it, taken with my Optimus 3D, so you can envy it in 3D. :v: That is if it doesn't freeze while trying to take a picture.

You won't get the speed improvements though.
I am on T-mobile. I took the iSmart one because it has the highest internet speeds. I read somewhere on a forum that LTE will be disabled at first, and will be enabled with an update. It implies T-mobile controls the updates, though, which is a shame.
New twitter needs better icons and smaller tabs or The font on the tabs is a bit off but you get the idea
I've never used the stock twitter app, always preferred to use Falcon pro.
Nexus 4 or S3? I'm leaning towards the S3, but two Nexus 4 owners have told me I should get the Nexus.
I don't own a Nexus 4, but I'd get one if I could. It'll last longer software wise as it gets updates directly from Google minimising waiting time for them.
My potato has become a S3... ...on Google Play. (used Market Helper) Installed so many "incompatible games". It worked fine. Damn it devs!
In other news, my wifi is being stupid. Won't properly connect to schools wifi.
In other news, my wifi is being stupid. Won't properly connect to schools wifi.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Turn on and off wifi radio, device, etc... Got pissed off and it's not like I could restart the routers at school.
Thanks for the advice guys! The space isn't an issue, not a major one atleast. I think I'm going with the Nexus then! Thanks!
So, 4.2 on the Transformer. I'm very impressed. There are obvious speed improvements, Asus' skin is even lighter now (this fucker is near vanilla), but it still has all the great Asus settings likethe skinned notification shade, Super IPS +, and the customization options for use with the keyboard peripheral and so on. On screen keyboard is pretty bad, but who uses the stock keyboard? Clock and system font is Roboto (FINALLY!!!) Lockscreen widgets are flawless (as flawless as vanilla is). Haven't fucked with the camera, but I will. Stock launcher still sucks compared to custom. All in all: 8/10, would bang. Edit: Camera is skinned into oblivion. Revised score: 7.5/10, would still bang.
Turn on and off wifi radio, device, etc... Got pissed off and it's not like I could restart the routers at school.
Hook up a hair dryer and put it in a bucket full of water. Remember to wear a pair of gloves for shock and fingerprint issues.
