All devices listed. Although since my post, I realized I was in ODIN mode, and had too use the up volume key instead, slight mistake in the Wiki. I installed the driver successfully on GT-I9300 as that is the model of my phone, but heimdall.exe just crashes after I try step 5
Initializing connection...
Detecting device...
Claiming interface...
Although I have realized I am staying on step 5 when I have already backed up all my stuff! Unless there is another reason for this?
Anybody?
Anybody?
Uninstall any drivers for your phone you can find, you can find your device in that list and that is NOT supposed to happen. It should have a generic name, not device specific name.

oh and it did come with headphones (LG PHF-300) in France, as required by local law.
"With Home it's not just 'mobile first,' but 'mobile best.'" Facebook has rewritten core components of Android, it's written an entirely new UI layer and new physics.
Oh that probably means it won't. I hope I can disable it.

Oh lovely.
Now when Facebook inevitably breaks their API and makes Friendcaster useless again I'll be forced to use a homescreen replacement to check my notifications away from home.
Facebook big announcement is basically an app suite and launcher full of annoying features everyone you know will love. It looks terrible and I know it's gonna be everywhere because Facebook is obligatory like that. No word yet on a phone.

Fucking ninjas.

heh, better than having verizon on your home button, at least you can hide that shit with a case.
I'm still waiting for a Verizon phone with their logo lasered into the display layer.
nah, they'll force you to tattoo it into your cornea before you can use the phone

At the end of every sentence in a conversation:
"Brought to you by Verizon".

So this is happening on the Galaxy S 4G. I have no idea what it is, I can't find anything about it, and I seemingly have no power over anything. Any suggestions?
it would help if you could focus on the screen a bit more
but it looks like that's an sd card maybe?

Tried, I'm afraid I can't get a better photo than that. It's a phone with dots leading to a computer. Between the dots is a warning sign.

Put in to download mode, flash a ROM via odin. This basically means the OS is fucked. I got it on my SGS, as well as my friend got it on his SGSII.

Couldn't get into download mode from that screen. Problem was solved from the Quick Questions thread using some obscure tool :v:
I just now learned that google search supports qr codes :v:
I just now learned that google search supports qr codes :v:
it does?
it does?
At least the 4.2 version does. It lets you search by camera and I can open qr codes with it.
(And yet, annoyingly, I still can't actually focus the camera so I have to open the camera app, focus, and then go to google search and search by camera. :l)
or you can just use barcode scanner

this is like the best
