Anandtech's review of the One is up. Not bad.
Was reading through the warranty on my phone, and I stumbled apon this in the list. [t]https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/884925_4731454164371_210192728_o.jpg[/t] What classifies as an "Act of god"?

Man, pie controls are so damn cool.
Man, pie controls are so damn cool.
Cool but useless if you actually have keys on your phone. I love that they pie controls to CM10.1 though
Cool but useless if you actually have keys on your phone. I love that they pie controls to CM10.1 though
The pie controls are disabled in CM10.1 if you have hardware keys
The pie controls are disabled in CM10.1 if you have hardware keys
Well yeah they were disabled by default for me. I just turned them on to give them a go and they seemed to work fine however they added no value for me.
So my Galaxy S is shitting its pants constantly so now I think I shall upgrade to a Nexus 4. They work with ATT, right? I hear that they of course work but then there are people on the internet complaining about their signals going crazy and MMS not working. I've been out of the loop for quite some time.
Black or white? I got black :D It will be delivered between the 24th and 26th of April. When will yours be delivered?
Damn, I wish the next nexus phone would have a 1080p screen, some really fast cpu with 2 gb memory, 64 gb storage, and an 4g lte chip. That would be the perfect phone.

Wonder how 1080p would be on an 4.3" screen :S

Finding a wallpaper that I'd like for more than 24 hours is mission fucking impossible. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2013-04-06_16.56_.56_.png[/t]

That's what I usually do, but I'd like a change. With a 720p screen it's even harder to find something that won't look blurry, so I'm just going through my past photos from my S2. This Prague pic seems to be pretty good for now.

More of a hardware question than about Android itself, but I figure this is as good place as any to ask. I've bought my Nexus 4 a few weeks ago and in the beginning I loved the super smooth feel of the glass on the front and how easy it was to clean. But soon some kind of dirty spots started appearing on it and they just keep spreading around, covering more and more of the screen every day. This is what I'm talking about: At first I thought the screen got scratched up, but it's not like normal scratches, it looks like someone took some fine grit sandpaper and polished parts of the screen to a matte finish. It also feels slightly rougher to the touch in the affected areas. The thing is, if I take a microfiber cloth and give the screen a really good wipe, it looks spotless again, but as soon as I put slightly greasy fingers on it, the exact same areas get dirty again. Now I want to know, is it normal if this happens, and is there anyway to fix it? Is there some kind of coating on the glass that rubbed off or did I scratch up the glass itself? I should mention that the only things that have ever been in contact with the screen are my fingers and my pants, I never put the phone laying screen-down or anything. Ironically, the glass on the back still looks as good as new.
My i9000 did that after...two years? Kinda looks like whatever oleophobic coating should be there rubbed off way too fast.

Is that the only way you could get a pic of it? Because its kinda hard to tell with the camera so close. It's a bit disorienting. It looks almost like an anti-smudge coating problem, but I really have no idea.
Here, I boosted the contrast a bit:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2093032 [editline]6th April 2013[/editline] That may be pertinent. I'd clean the screen really well and put a screen protector on.
according to reddit.com/r/nexus4, the oleophobic coating isn't very strong, although it differs a lot on units, it still doesn't last even half of what some other flagship phones do. LG might have done some amazing things with this phone, but they still need to pay attention to even the slightest details (the coating, autofocus audibly shaking when camera is off or a slightly looser power button than my S2 for example) before they get on par with other major manufacturers.
