• Every now and then computer wont start and I have to faff about with the power cord

Back in may when I was moving, my computer burst out the bottom of the box I was carrying it in and hit the ground. After hooking it up, I found that it wouldn't boot. After spending a few minutes messing around with the power cord/switches on the computer, it revived itself and came back to life. It stopped booting a month later, but after faffing about with the power cord it again revived itself. It did it again today, but I got it working as per usual. Its not a major issue, I can damn near guarantee it will start again when it happens, but its really annoying. What happens is when I press the power button, the light and the fans start up for about half a second before shutting off. I can turn it on by unplugging and replugging the power cord over and over until it starts up, and it seems to have no effects on the computer's performance and there are no warning signs to it. I think it may be the power button, as it pops out sometimes so perhaps something is loose in there. (Cant see it when I remove the side, so I cant tell) Either that, or its the power supply (Likely, it is at the bottom and probably took most of the fall) My specs: MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 AMD Phenom II X4 945 8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 401MHz (5-5-5-18) ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 AMD High Definition Audio Device I appreciate the help.
I Would Say by the sounds of it that its 98% certainly the PSU, i did EXACTLY the same thing, and my PSU was forever temperamental afterwords, until it eventually fried! i was lucky it didn't damage any other components to be frank.
Sounds to be more of a deeper problem than the PSU. The shock might have damaged the motherboard.
