I'm saying that maybe robber is running it without aa thus is getting ~25fps instead of the 15 the bench says
Oh, that's what he meant. Yes, I'm running it without AA.
so, the cards are out in stores. Newegg says the 14th though.. probably cause i'm not in the US
MicroCenter has them. [editline]10:47PM[/editline] not on their site though, local one had some. [editline]10:47PM[/editline] well, I saw one GTX 480 [editline]10:49PM[/editline] they didn't have a spot for the GTX 470 :saddowns:
:saddowns:
finding anything in microcenter is a real task. they probably had a spot for the 470 on a totally different aisle
that way the guys who help people aren't bored all day. they're busy helping customers find similar things that are on opposite sides of the store
explains why they keep the power supplies and some PC cases by the TVs, lol.

I do not see the point apart just spend more money unnecessarily and show you're just stupid. Don't know about the 470, but it seems better in terms of quality, apparently. Old GTX cards and current ATI cards (up to 5870, the 5970 is the same as the 480 for its value, that is to say "useless") seem more comfortable for their price and interest.

And why would you buy anything bigger than a 24" for 1920x1080/1200?. The 480 is at its price point mainly because of the other things it supports like CUDA and PhysX. That's always why NVIDIA has been more expensive and why ATI has been cheaper, ATI supports open standards which doesn't add a premium to the retail price.
People need to spend so much for an eye-candy and a similiar program you can find anywhere ? If they want the 480 for only that, I lol'd.
People need to spend so much for an eye-candy and a similiar program you can find anywhere ? If they want the 480 for only that, I lol'd.
Similar program you can find anywhere? What?
Similar program you can find anywhere? What?
OpenCL and ATI Stream are the same thing as CUDA.
when did a 28" screen have anything to do with performance?
Over 28", I mean an 2560x1600 resolution for example. It's the only right way if you want to spend correctly on an powerful card like GTX 480 or HD 5970.
OH, ok.

Yeah that's right. Thanks you for clarify my clumsy way of expressing
I would want a 2560x1600 monitor for productivity
i would want one purely just because
i would want one purely just because

he is trolling check his post history check his ban history
Umm, no I'm not. You're just clueless.
i would want one purely just because
If you game more than you work and you don't have inexhaustible funds to keep up with gaming trends do not buy a 30", stick with 1920x1200's. But if you just play games casually and work then you'd be in love.
ok
Woo, my Galaxy GTX 470 has arrived. The card is pretty big.. but it looks smaller/shorter than my GTX 275. I'm in Florida till tomorrow, so i guess when I get back I could really see how hot it runs.

back.. canceled my flight :saddowns: anyway, it's pretty much stuck around 60C with 70 percent fan speed with 2 LCDs, main is 1920x1080, second is 1680x1050. I do recall legitreviews saying dual LCDs make the card hot. Nothing to worry about until it becomes a problem.. anyone like what it says? lol
how loud is it with 70%?
