anyway, it's pretty much stuck around 60C with 70 percent fan speed with 2 LCDs, main is 1920x1080, second is 1680x1050. I do recall legitreviews saying dual LCDs make the card hot.

It feels quieter than two 275s @ 70, thats for sure. It's not that loud.. 100 percent is definately louder than one 275 @ 100, (so same goes for all of the 200 series)
It's not unbearable.

In Just Cause 2 it runs about 73c. Although triple buffering is enabled, so it switches between 30 and 60 FPS constantly

Raytracing takes time. Tho it should become less and less grainy after a while
the demo videos showed it was all clear and nice, and still got like 10+ FPS

yeah that's because it's rendering.
rendering in most rendering applications is like this. just let it do it's shit. go piss in your mouth or something and come back and it should be ready for a screen shot.

maybe you don't actually have CUDA enabled? iirc you have to go into the control panel and enable CUDA and PhysX.

Luckily there is a store 50km from where I live that somehow manages to have everything like a month before the rest of the country, they already have six 480 in store, even though [B]all[/B] other stores get it at least in 30 days, if not much more (was the same for Samsungs LED PC screens, they had it 3 months before anyone else).
Hoping that those 6 haven't been all sold over the weekend.

Anyway I'm not really shelling out the extra 60€ because of fanboys being obnoxious, but because I ended up having 80€ to spare, so why not put them on the GPU.
Go GTX, imo.
I prefer nVidia over any other cards, i find they are so much more reliable. :)
