Considering the mountain of problems I have had since switching to ATI last month, I may just sell my 5870 and get a 4xx. My 9800GX2 never went wrong, apart from the overheating.

When Fermi releases I will be ready for an entirely new rig. I'll compare price and performance with ATi and decide where I'll go from there. Fanboys are dumb.

I'm waiting for the new nvidia cards to come out so the high-end cards quit being overpriced. e.g. The 5830 is 50$ more than it should be

Damnit, I can't buy anything else now because I need to have money for the 26th (I'm going to get a new GPU that day, be it Nvidia or ATI) . It would be nice if they revealed the pricing on the GTX470 and GTX480, we are pretty close to release now.

When they're released, will the prices on the other graphics cards drop?

Think about the number of times fudzilla ran stories FERMI WILL BE OUT IN A MONTH OR TWO JUST WAIT AND SEE! Charlie kept his story more or less the same, and gave some technical background on the matter, and how it meshed with his stories (Albeit with tons of bias). But you can't really find someone else who did that. See if you can find anyone else talking about technical information like that.
