Works very well, haven't overheated yet (or nearly at all), a bit loud, but I don't mind, as the compnents doesn't break 70C under heavy load. HDD changing is easy as pie, and from my experience very good service.

Its not too bad, but I had it repaired once so far. Just Cause 2 runs fine on medium and low at 1280x720. Half Life 2 runs pretty at 1680x1050 with 4x AA, same for Garry's Mod. 90-150fps.
So, am I the only one who's finding it odd that people are saying: "LAPTOPS ARE GAY FOR GAMING" funny as well?
The only thing why I got it is because I have a small room, which just means I can't fit a PC, I don't use PCs, I'm not a super-hardcore gamer demanding high framerate and ultra-good graphics type of guy.

Its a very good laptop with decent battery life. I haven't used it for gaming so I can't say if it will run Crysis flawlessly or not. But I can say its a decent laptop which deserves your attention. But I do think its price is way to high for what you get.

Acer 5740G, wasn't bad at all for the 799 euros i bought it for 1 year ago.
i7 620M, 4 GB 1333 DDR3, Radeon HD 5650M, 640 GB WD HDD, had some shitty bloated Windows 7 Home Premium install, now runs Ubuntu 11.04 most of the time to save battery, although i have Windows 7 Ultimate on it too (plays all source games on high at it's 1366x768 resolution, and starcraft 2 on medium perfectly, can't complain about anything)
That i7 is a fucking monster though, i have a Coolermaster NotePal2 and the damn thing still gets as hot as a freaking volcano :v:
