Windows Blue - NO, THEY ARE NOT REMOVING METRO - Hardware & Software

Eh what? CLI is only for low level administration tasks and the vast majority of users won't use it, how can you make it any better really?

XP still has more function than vista, 7, or 8 combined. No fancy color scheme that can cause problems(although rarely), everything is in the right place, compatibillity for older games and most newer ones, and I don't have to run anything as administrator.

And 99% of DWM bugs have been killed in 8 as well. No reason to say XP has better compatibility anymore.

It'd be a fresh start so they wouldn't be stuck with an OS full of legacy crap slowing it down plus we'd get better communication with other devices since literally everything except Windows is based off Unix. I picked up Windows 8 for $30 during the "Buy a new PC, get Windows 8" sale. I'd say it's worth it, if only for the speed increases and faster boot times.

I'm still glad I switched to Mac. I've been really enjoying using an OS optimized for touchpad and keyboard on my laptop for the past year. After what they did for Ubuntu and Windows 8 there isn't even that much choice.

I see don't understand why Microsoft is forcing Metro UI on people, I mean they just gave up on Microsoft Bob. There is literally nothing anyone can do to make them see reason. I wish I knew how to fight this.
