Are leaks like this not considered Warez?
I think it wouldn't matter because previews always come out and are meant for people to download and use for free, it's just a little early is all. Don't know for sure though.
Are leaks like this not considered Warez?
link were allowed for 8 leaks so i don't see why that wouldn't be the case here
I was really excited over Vista and 7 leaks and updating to both. I would always format for them and use them and what not but 8 hasn't interested me a single damn bit. Yeah, this definitely seems like it improves upon it and I think that it should have been like this in the first place but 8 is still just a big fat meh to me.
I have a program which doesn't work in 8 apparently which at this minor of an issue convinces me it's not worthwhile. However, I've gotten to the point that after my 5th or 6th format of Windows 7 due to it shitting the bed with horrible driver issues, printer issues and generally just being horribly slow even when preventing anything from starting up with Windows that the only reason I boot into Windows anymore is to play games.
Everything has to be at least a 10-20 min ordeal when installing a device such as a printer or trying to get Windows to fucking find network devices. After a 6+ month period something always goes wrong such as Graphics drivers throwing a hissy fit, system hangs and the like. Most programs don't uninstall nicely or plain fail to do so. Windows has spewed it's horrible bootloaders on like 4 of my partitions which have been fairly the same since I had Vista.
It's a quicker and has some fancy new interfaces and works amazing with tablets and ARM. I still can't seem to justify my money to going to Windows 8 let alone justify the time or effort.

The internal builds have a timebomb coded into the kernel. They stop working after a set date and are not final. They were not supposed to leak in the first place but it could simply be microsoft pr doing the leaking.
Probably the reason why the surface wasn't magically leaked

I learned this trying to backup a hard drive "I only need it to copy this one drive, let's just use this old Windows Thin Beta disk"
50% done copying so go get a drink, I come back and it's bluescreened

well surface needed arm backend hardware so it was impossible to do so. I doubt they would care because its basically the same thing as the regular 8 but with less features.
It pisses me off that Xbox Music requires a Music Pass and Live Gold to work on AN XBOX. Its called Xbox Music for god's sake. It should come with Live Gold, or not require Gold to work on the Xbox.

I completely agree.
I think it's insane that you have to pay to use any apps, to be frank.
The way I see the future of Xbox subscription is Games (for online game stuff and maybe even on demand games), Videos (Netflix style thing) and Music.

The Xbox Live Gold business model in general is corrupt bullshit.

Since I can't find another Windows thread and don't want to make a new one, Should I upgrade to 8 from Vista?

But do you have any compatibility issues with older programs? That's the main thing I'm worried about. Oh, and I don't have to back up my personal files, right?
From Vista to 8, you don't have to worry about User files. That includes Music, Documents and shit. Your other shit like games and everything will move to a Windows.old folder inside C:\ (or whatever drive you're using).
Only compatibility issue I've experienced so far was Fallout 3. other than that, I haven't had issues. If it works in 7, it'll most likely work in 8.

Alright, sweet. Thanks, dude.
Doesn't Windows 8 have the compatibility modes Windows 7 had?
