Windows 7 is the best OS on the market today. The only reason XP is still supported is because businesses arn't ready to upgrade to 7 yet.

Bought Windows 7 upgrade edition at play.com around about £79, upgraded from XP and have been happier ever since.
Windows 7 is alot faster, it's smoother, it looks much better, it deals with crashing much better (Doesn't come up with thousands of 'Not Responding' stuff, just goes white and tries to fix it for you). It basically is much better than Windows XP.

Still not as efficient as a Linux distro when it comes to crashing. I am surprised MS haven't done their own take on that. Would make dealing with hanging programs much nicer.
