Teach me your ways~~
Although I'm going to make a short video about myself and send it to some TV channels and such and see what happens, I'm not sure that'll get me a job.
They won't hire people who don't know how to use their several thousands of dollars worth of camera gear so you should start getting experience.
One way to get experience is to start volunteering, there is probably some volunteering programs in your area where you start learning how television runs, etc.
I don't know how it's like in your area but I'd ask the TV channels/companies about any volunteering related positions you could take. It's a good way to at least get a feel of the whole thing.
I'm still tentative. That image has a lot of contrast and won't help at all with the 60p shit-smeared recordings of convenience store security footage. I know it's a proof of concept, but there's a lot more you're capable of in the right conditions.
It can't create data that isn't there, the neural network will use its understanding of faces to extra/interpolate whats going just like a human does.
Its the same thing as telling an facial composition artist to make a high quality drawing of the person in question. But if he/she can't distinguish the face from store security footage neither will the software.
i really wouldn't mind gadgets returning if they're less tacky
just a simple clock or temperature number in plain text over the desktop would be nice
The only time i look at my desktop is during boot or when i windows+D.
I have the weather in the live titles on the start-menu and i find that i use that much more often.

I use this at work when my boss wants me to put shitty low res graphics in stuff.
Hey guys, my friend's gtx670 just kicked the shitter

What does this look like to you?
Informative: shit drivers
Lightning: cooked card
tool: other hardware problem
I might try to buy it from him for chump change and SLI it with my 670 if I can get it working.

swap the cable first.
Why not? AA is usually one of the last options I turn on, but if I can run a game with 8xSSAA, of course I'm going to do just that.
To get more frames normally. You want to be playing csgo at 200+fps where possible due to source engine input processing.
Also a lot of it is preference, like me playing on all low high shadow 4:3 stretched.
Looks like an out of life capacitor on the GPU.
you know how so many computer illiterate people think CSI's "Enhance!" is a real thing and we all laugh at them because that couldn't POSSIBLY work

Is it just me, or is Windows 8 and 10 optimized to work on low RAM devices? I'm working on laptop with 2 GB of RAM on 7 and it just crawls. Windows 8 tablet with 2 GB of RAM, doesn't give two fucks. Just as fast as my 8 GB laptop.
They should feed it with thousands of images of Kramer before doing the processing.
So it would become extremely good at hallucinating Kramer's face, but only his.

It totally is. Upgrading my X61s from Vista to 7 to 8 to 10 took it from unusable, to slow, to perfectly usable, to fairly speedy.
Somewhere in Windows 7 development they realized that less CPU Cycles = Better Battery life. Ands performance has only got better since then.

I've heard this line about "Source's input processing" repeated several times, and it's always smelled like bullshit, and it's never actually been explained. You have a reliable, quality source on that?
Also a lot of it is preference, like me playing on all low high shadow 4:3 stretched.
Not gonna lie, if you're saying stuff like that, I'm inclined to disbelieve anything you say.

I mean I installed 8 on a Pentium M and its faster than this shit. The Core 2 Duo on XP earlier with trojans and rootkits was faster than this thing.
Whatever, gettin paid. :v:

Holy shit it finally asked if i want to install the windows hotfix. Hopefully no more Windows Update memory leaks.

1. Get some people together, make them look like Kramer.
2. Take before/after pictures.
3. Train neural network on them.
4. Get some delicious VC for your new tech startup, kramerify.me.
That's George you silly.
either that or the algorithm is worse than i thought
apparently when i was syncing music to my mom's ipod i accidentally put the entire discogaphy of the pixies on it :v:
"some of your stuff must have leaked in there -- there was part, like, some girl talking. almost like a podcast." -my mom

welp I got him to pull the card out and look at it, he says the vram chips are all bubbled up, one of the chips exploded, the card is heat warped, and there is corrosion on the copper parts. This guy is fucking hell on eveything he owns. He did the same thing to a 580 a few years ago from overclocking the shit out of it and not watching the temps, and he blew up his truck from running tractor oil in it.
Ill post pics of the card when I get them.

Good god man, don't let him touch a computer's settings ever again, actually don't let him at anything with internals.

Unless he had that laying around you have to go out of your way to get that shit at a store. What kind of fucking retard are we dealing with here?

His dads a farmer, and has big tanks full of the stuff around
Diesel engines are fun, especially when engine oil leaks into the intake and you get a runaway.
The thing will run at full tilt until it either runs out of oil (obviously bad), over RPM's until it blows up (also obviously bad), or you manage to stuff rags in the air intake to starve it of oxygen
[editline]6th July 2015[/editline]
Also the whole time it's filling your garage with the blackest smoke you've ever seen

If I wasn't at work I would use this as an excuse to post allll the runaway diesel videos. They're both cool and terrifying!
Ive seen plenty of runaway videos, but the top 3 were a deisel train, an old decrepit earthmover, and a 50 year old truck

:v:
I also love this one because of just how it bounces around, but really shows old engines you gotta be really careful with then restoring them.

The other amazing thing with diesel engines is if its big enough, even if you block off the fuel and air intakes, it can still runaway by actually pulling in air from the fucking exhaust, they get that violent.
Transitioning back to computers...
I'm getting very close to finishing the hardware part of my Car PC build:

It works very nicely so far. Except the damn GPS software seems to have mediocre maps for my area.
