I really need a gaming mouse the same size as G9x without grip (left on the pic) or smaller.

Only my laptop mouse comes close but it's wireless.

Also guys give me advice on a lovely background image for kiwime.me/previousthreads
i may actually grab the current image now that we have on page 1 and just center it but the background will be white (i can invert the colors of the image too so we have white image on black background)
Lots and lots of "not thermal paste"
Is the reason why task manager claims Waterfox is using 3.5GiB of RAM but 6GiB is freed when it closes due to sponge level memory leaks or is task manager bad?

I did it! OS X and Windows now peacefully coexist!
Yes. But they were removed due to security issues iirc.
The gadget gallery was. But Steven Sinofsky killed it first under the guise of "check out the bullshit we're doing in Windows 8!", and then they just used some security flaw as an actual excuse later on down the road after Sinofsky left as cover.
Somewhere in Windows 7 development they realized that less CPU Cycles = Better Battery life. Ands performance has only got better since then.
Because timer coalescing was introduced in 7 which groups up multiple interrupts.
You have it eh? How is it so far? I was thinking of getting this (and I might want to get it as my "birthday present" for myself later this July) but I ended up getting a cheaper mouse from Costco for $30, the Logitech M560. So far, it's doing well for my uses. The logitech setpoint software is kinda stupid sometimes, it looses my profiles and doesn't come back until I restart the program. I hate how it doesn't have a middle click but I ended up not using it much anyways since my left hand is usually on the keyboard anyways.
It doesn't look like the MX Master has the back and forward buttons when you press the scroll wheel to the left or the right like on my mouse. I feel like the side buttons to the right of the horizontal scroll wheel (that I'd use a lot for video editing) is going to be hard for me to press because of how I grip my mice.
I love it, I'm a total diehard fanboy of Logitech MX mice just for how comfortable and smooth they are. The battery lasts a few days without charge, sometimes a week, and then you just plug it into the cable for an hour and its full again. Tracking is really smooth and it feels great to hold. As far as software, I never use profiles or macro buttons so I haven't even messed with it. Using default settings I've had no issues though. Regarding buttons, I don't even use them but when I've played with them they feel accessible and natural to click. IMO it's worth the money, I use my mouse for gaming, design work, coding etc., and I prefer to have something high quality while I do it. Knowing that this mouse will last me at least 2-3 years like my last one (last one was an MX, was working fine but I wanted the shiny new one!), I don't mind paying $100.
i want a machine that can run os x but i don't have enough to get a decent imac :l

I just got the rival for around $35. Apparently best buys in store price was much lover than the online price. If there's one near you it might be worth checking out.
Ah yes, that may be a bit far for someone of the land upside down under
OG G400 master race reporting in
The wheel's been finicky lately (reports steps clicks with barely a nudge that doesn't actually step) but otherwise it's the finest mouse I've touched
Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX.
I bought one about four years ago, and used it so much that my fingers wore grooves through the rubber grip and into the actual plastic. Finally replaced it with another one a few weeks back, when the clicks started misregistering.
It reads on every surface I've found, save one. Wood, couch, leather, glass, all of those give it no problem... but my mousepad fucks it up big-time. It's for my laptop, though, so I don't really need a mousepad anyways.
My desktop uses some gaming mouse that came with my laptop originally. It's a rebrand of something but I can't remember what.

Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention how magical the tracking on those MX mice are. I can lay in bed with a wireless keyboard and just put my mouse on my bed with no mouse pad and it works perfect, aside from the drag across the fabric.

Never buy a Razer peripheral. I remember getting the Mamba, the one that comes in a fancy glass case, and being super excited when I was younger. It lasted 4 months before it started mis-clicking.

Black bars is objectively worse yes, stretched however does have actual advantages to losing a tiny bit of fov.
But I'm sure that having 1k+ hours in cs means nothing compared to your...0?

what the hell? widescreen is better in every way because, you know, it's correct for the fucking display?
what the hell? widescreen is better in every way because, you know, it's correct for the fucking display?
What he said is correct. Although widescreen is better, pro players still uses 4:3 because that's what they used back in the days. Changing it to a widescreen resolution will screw up their aims

i get playing on a 4:3 monitor, in that case, but wouldn't it also fuck up your aim if you went from proper scaling to stretching horizontally?

Every audiophile out there will tell you using cheap cables sounds like utter shit, even when it's packet-based digital. "Community consensus" proves nothing except what is popular, not what is actually better.
also 4:3 stretched is a preference, when a LOT of pros use 4:3/stretched because they're used to it and are still fucking gods even with the lower fov you can't say otherwise
Saying it's a matter of opinion does not exempt it from objective judgement. Stretching 4:3 to 16:9 objectively looks worse and quite possibly adds display lag, since the scaler is now involved. Any possible FOV advantage is negated by this, and there are better ways to get a wider FOV, such as using the FOV display options.

She*
I would also like to add that models are easier to see on 4:3 which is a big thing for me. It may be placebo but the confidence it gives you isn't.

THERE ARE NO FOV DISPLAY OPTIONS IN CS.
Also if you're playing cs for it to look good then you aren't doing it properly. I couldn't give a single shit how it looks. I'm here for the gameplay, not the fucking visuals.
Also you upscale on your gpu to avoid display lag.

You stretch horizontally because thats how its comfortable for you to aim.
