I'd rather do this:
def howManyCanIBuy(balance, cost): return balance//cost money, price = 9001, 200 print(howManyCanIBuy(money, price))

YES YOU ARE CORRECT THIS IS A LOT MORE EFFICIENT so how about them computers eh
I'll probably install Win10 when I do a round of hardware upgrades if there's no major fuckups / compatibility issues
Cortana is pretty cool for things like notes and music control actually.
Yes. Considering it's more lightweight than 8.1 and has useful upgrades to the command line, I'm switching as soon as it stable. It absolutely wrecked my laptop when I tried back in january, but my desktop is a bit more traditional in its setup so I don't anticipate any issues.
Fine Lime and Lekk. Anyone jump shipping to Windows 10 straight away or staying still?
I've already jumped on my tablet, I'll jump on my desktop after using RTM on my tablet for a while, once it's out.
How's it running on your tablet?
Pretty well, really happy with it. Although all the people saying that it was usable as a daily-driver were insane up until fairly recently.
My cheapie USB microscope can see inside surface-mount LEDs, assuming they're big enough for it. That's kind of cool.
Latest build is solid. 10130 was pretty stable for me at least but not exactly daily driver material. 9926 though... Hmm it was fairly, FAIRLY broken.
Most builds have been fairly stable I've found, no crashing (Well, except for some core apps, looking at you immersive settings). just MASSIVE amounts of bugs, anywhere from small to large.
I found this at a thrift shop for 50€. I can see them on EBAY for 130$. Is it actually worth this?
Owning a stack of Indy's myself, no. $50 tops unless it has the legendary XZ graphics. They're SGI's low-end machines of the mid 90's and holy shit they support VGA and PS/2 devices. Most of the ones on ebay are total rips. $300 for 8-bit graphics, no ram and an R4600SC? HAHAHAHA. Edited: Holy shit. The Indy was supported until 2011.
I want to order a Google Cardboard thing through eBay, but I keep getting error 70005 when clicking "buy it now". I can't really find a solution to it. Has anyone else experienced this?
If anyone has any tips for setting up an SMTP server to relay emails to and from my gmail I'd appreciate it.
Fine Lime and Lekk. Anyone jump shipping to Windows 10 straight away or staying still?
Not jumping ship immediately, will probably do so in August or September after the month 1/2 issues are discovered and/or fixed.
I'm gunna stay on Windows 7 because it's perfect.
I'm gunna stay on Windows 7 because it's perfect.
weird to think that it won't be long until windows 7 guys are the new windows xp guys
They'll be even worse because 10 is free for them. 7 just feels so clunky now compared to the differences between XP/Vista and 7. Microsoft has really been doing a good job on the Windows front IMO.

Why can't new machines have more manly cables? I mean, you'll never fuck that over by rolling over it with your chair or flexing the plug base too much and what's this? Metal retainer tabs and knurled metal thumbscrews WITH a screwdriver slot for people who overtighten them? Absolutely none of that plastic/friction fit bullshit.

Different connectors exist for a multitude of reasons. They're pretty good idea.
we should start a H&S slack group
man who cares about irc slack is the future
All we need is a connector with the ability to provide a negotiable amount of power (within a reasonable range) and a shitload of bandwidth.
you mean type-c
Steam chat is all I need
Never used slack. What makes it so good compared to the thousands of other solutions?
Got an Arkham Knight code with the 980 I just ordered, wat do. I've already completed the game and I don't suppose people will want to buy it cause it might run like arse on their system.
