back when bitcoin first came around and was like 20 cents per coin I was a coin flip away from investing $1000 into it. if I had landed on heads I'd have never needed to work again.

Filtering her though a TV writer (which as we all know removes all knowledge of technology) would basically output a perfect copy of Jen.
How do you burn out a fan? I've had my computer running since like 2011 in its current state, save for power outages.
Shitty sleeve bearing fans. Need I say more?
Shitty sleeve bearing fans. Need I say more?
I have one that's over 10 years old. It needs to be re-lubricated every year or so after 3 years of use.
Shitty sleeve bearing fans. Need I say more?
Sleeves work best when vertical though. I'd imagine those would survive on a front mount.
I replaced my rear case fan a month or so and just discovered that I put it in backwards.
is there a way i can get my computer to constantly emit a low hum because of cooling that sound is super relaxing
is there a way i can get my computer to constantly emit a low hum because of cooling that sound is super relaxing
make one of your fans slightly out of balance
i should just get an ultra tower case, use micro atx parts, and then put a coffee maker inside the case
I just ordered a small single burner hotplate so I can heat up cans of soup and not have to get up to make food. I could easily case mod it into my next pc and say that I'm cooking with nvidia power (tm)
Gimmie SRAM.
SRAM best RAM
I'm kinda glad I never mined bitcoin. Probably wouldn't have gotten something good out of it.
Every sane person would do the math before investing themselves into it.
My boss and one of my coworkers actually made quite a bit mining and currently are watching the market and moving accordingly.
It's been much more steady recently than it used to be. I've got like 0.2 bitcoins or something and I check prices every now and again to see if they're doing something silly like reaching $1000 again.
Yeah, it's gone up with the whole Greece thing though. Whenever a country is close to a major financial failure point it rises.
Every sane person would do the math before investing themselves into it.
One of my schoolmates bought a brand new rig that had six R9 280X's (that's the equivalent of $2k over here) and an IKEA shoerack instead of a case, put it in his attic to mine dogecoin (this was last february, so it was like -25 outside) and made all the money back in a month. I still don't understand how.

All this Bitcoin talk makes me wish my laptop didn't go kaput with my wallet. I could have been so much richer by now. Managed to scrape together two whole coins through gambling without investing any cash into it back in 2011-12. Then the laptop fried itself with a bad processor. Granted, this was back when a single Bitcoin barely covered a cheap meal from Wendy's (around ~$5USD per 1BTC) so I wasn't too worried about losing ten potential bucks. ...And then it became hundreds of dollars per coin a few years down the road.
I wonder what I could mine with a Fury X card.... But then again, hydro costs and it's summer...
Shit like that iis why I keep all my old hard drives and have them all backed up on my 2nd hdd, in a folder Labelled "graveyard"

Oh, thank you, I feel much better knowing my question was so masterfully answered.
Oh, thank you, I feel much better knowing my question was so masterfully answered.
We're here to help
Oh, thank you, I feel much better knowing my question was so masterfully answered.
any day bro! EDIT: But seriously though, "files" is the actual answer. A properly configured HTTP page shouldn't allow you to navigate and download the content of a directory like that. It would return a 503 forbidden error instead.
google image searching "old computer art" is pretty fucking incredible
