i think it seems a little bit weird not to have a person in your avatar
i try to have good avatar taste, ie daria/a gamecube/cool abstract gif/reference to something cool
and that's about it for your TrafficMan's avatar history lesson, I hope you all took notes as this will be on the test
this is my avatar folder

some of those have never been used -- i like making them, it's decent practice

Well no wonder you change your avatar like literally every day.

not because i have a huge backlog, or do it for sport, it's really just because i get tired of looking at one easily/get dissatisfied with them a bunch
i really want to do something with the same basic avatar element but there's something animated behind it -- perhaps an abstract pattern -- make a bunch of them, and change them really frequently
winner you should give him your avatar changer
he did
[editline]12th July 2015[/editline]
the only reason i haven't started it yet is that i want to build up a large fleet of great avatars, and i don't know how to run the avatar switcher without my own private webserver/keeping the .py open all the time which is kind of hard to manage on a weak pc like mine
maybe when i get around to building a download slave/"deep storage box"
So I bought a surface pro 3 the other day off eBay, it was basically brand new. The i5 with 8gb ram variant for $830. I received it today and it turns out its the i7 version instead. Neat
The screen cracked yesterday.
my avatar was a yawning hedgehog for like six years
then anime happened and ruined everything
i started making more fun avatars for another forum where i have a pretty big avatar resolution and decided to keep facepunch in sync
Anime kills animals.
hey now, the hedgehog is still there.
-wait, this isn't wayt-
Ezhik the hedgehog is literally your trademark it's quite pretty
I can put the hedgehog on anything.
"vector"
".psd"
DOES NOT COMPUTE
So I thought I was desperate for an internet connection.
Then along comes Norway.

PSD actually does support vector paths in a very primitive way

I had that hedgehog pokemon as an avatar for a while and then I switched to more adult oriented anime avatars
I have not changed my avatar in years.
I just made it aminated.
Man, all this talk made me realize:
a) I never finished making my new avatar (the one it blinks to now... long story)
b) I can't find the files of it
c) I don't know if I even like the idea anymore
d) I have no idea what avatar I'd even like

Is that... an acoustic modem... connecting to a BBS... over a cellphone...?
Ive had axe cop, 2 different compressorhead stickboy gifs, and now a symbol of defiance against them damn dirty liburuls. If I had photoshop and an ounce of talent, I would have put the flag behind stickboy or something. Since neither of those things are the case, Im stuck with a boring unmoving offensive symbol until I can find a suitable gif.

It's actually a vector shape in the .psd

I got it on shirts as well :u

Congrats Ezhik. You are now a brand.
Damn this is a creepy smoke detector. The manufactures decided that people are unable to understand that an occasional *chirp* means low battery, so they made it speak to alert you of its status. This isn't a terribly idea, but they didn't get the audio playback quite right. It might work in testing with a full battery, but once it gets low it comes out as a creepy:
*CHIRP* LOW Battttteeeerrrrrrrryyyyyyy
that wakes you up in the middle of the night and makes you begin to question your sanity.
Things to do when you have insomnia, part 1:
I learned the Photoshop CS6 3D editor tools.

Now with transparency.
It's Christmas in July :v:
This shit is fucking convoluted. I don't know what half of these things do.

Your layout looks messy as shit. Doesn't look like photoshop at first either.
Why the hell are you in Photoshop's 3D mode? You're only going to get a headache.

You try making a timeline animation of a 2D-layer angled 45 degrees away from the camera rotating through its own axis while maintaining lighting angles.
And somebody was asking me about a vector in a .psd earlier :V
[editline]12th July 2015[/editline]
Also I make my avatars in After Effects when they require animation :V
I'm never changing my avatar.

The way smoke alarm manufacturers (at least the ones that manufacture "dumb" ones) configure low battery alerts results in probably countless deaths worldwide from people just ripping the damn things out.
