Someone actually bought that overpriced piece of crap back in the days?
Then again, the Razer stickers explains it all.
The fact that I paid $2 for it and $40 for a liquid cooling kit makes it even more hilarious.
That fucking lever on the side just moves a set of louvers. Man, I remember how much more fucking boss that concept version of the case was. This is a joke.

At least it's from an era where Thermaltake had original designs.
At least it's from an era where Thermaltake had original designs.
True, still hilarious how shitty it is compared to the concept design (as Pentium mentions)
Didn't they involve one of BMW's design studios when making the concept version? or was that a different funky case?
Oh great. My CPU fan is making this annoying noise when I'm playing (or just browsing the internet, just less audible).

Consistently running at 70-80C on a laptop isn't a good idea is it..? Or is it normal when having a million Chrome tabs?
It's not a great idea, no, but probably just on the upper end of "safe." Though there's a big difference between 70 and 80 degrees...
Yay! Mikrotik is finally going to release some AC routerboards with cases.

Love me some fasts ethernetz
Yeah if that is just 10/100, what's the point of AC?
So Tampermonkey decided that my Chrome profile was fucked up after a crash all of a sudden.
Carrying out surgery in its AppData folder is a daunting experience, but it appears to have been a success.

Yay. New pebble!
Voice replies are surprisingly accurate but if you swear it picks it up, censors it a little, then starts to mess up other words :L
Very cool though.

Time line is really useful for classes too.
Probably really good if you wanna dry paint.
BTW how is that renovating going or is it done? You mentioned something about it in WAYT a while ago and I haven't been following.
It is finished, although it's a bit messy right now.

There's not a lot done though; we replaced the wallpaper, and built a different desk combining my old one and some fresh MDF.

Also, seems this G2 does a decent job in taking images with not much light.

My Surface gets louder than a jet engine with just two chrome tabs. It's only normal.
It's the worst when I try to open a GIF file, but I forgot to change file associations for certain image types from the default and then IE opens and I shriek in terror.

First thing I do when I install a new W7 install is put the old XP image viewer back in so gifs actually work, granted thats after installing an AV and some other stuff.

Just can't go wrong with this thing.

Wifi to Wifi connections will still take advantage of AC.

Fucking really?
IE9+ is the fastest launching browser on any Windows 7+ system because it's already partially loaded at boot time. If you open a gif, you're accessing a local file, posing literally no security risk.

Installing an old, out-of-date, end-of-life piece of system software is possibly an even worse decision.

And yet it actually can animate gif images unlike the native W7 image viewer and IE9 always likes to hang a little bit before opening something, I'd rather have a working piece of software designed for the purpose of viewing images than something that was just tacked on as a "it'll do" solution because they were lazy with the normal image viewer. Also there's nothing wrong with the software its self, yeah its old but it functions exactly as intended and its yet to cause me any issues.
Its a fucking image viewer anyway for fucks sake.
yall mothafuckas need gwenview
[t]http://jesusfuck.me/di/7NVG/gwenview.png[/t]
loads every image you can throw at it (even animated GIFs), starts up really fucking quick, interface doesn't suck. only downside is it's a KDE program so it needs to bring its friends along
Irfanview 4 lyfe

That just sounds like your hard drive is giving up.

Except it opened a handful of different windows asking me to set it up and make it my default browser along with opening an ad-filled microsoft homepage tab on top of it.
IE itself wasn't what made me irritated. I could not care less about how good or bad it runs. It was all the pestering and opening a webpage (even if its an official microsoft site) without my discretion that irritated me.
W/e, I changed file associations to open GIFs in my default browser which is what I prefer.

IE hangs for me on my fucking ssd compared to other browsers.

Both at work and home.
And yet IE starts instantly every time.
[vid]http://kiwime.me/files/Streaming%20(03).mp4[/vid]
I really don't know what the fuck you do to it.
Absolutely nothing. Both my home and work systems have an i7, 16gb RAM, and an SSD and it hangs on both.
Loads instantly for me too. Other than complaining that it's not the default browser.
My Surface gets louder than a jet engine with just two chrome tabs. It's only normal.
It's set to high performance mode, otherwise I'll get a heap of lag. When it starts to sound like a jet engine, it gets pretty warm and is enough to heat the room up if there's no decent air flow in the room itself. Maybe I should take it apart and clean the fans.

It's an x86 chip why wouldn't it work?
They have an upcoming Ububtu version too.
