I personally really want to know the Fury X price... though if I get it I'd have to get a new monitor most likely.
They just announced the prices, the Fury X is $649 and the Fury is $500~
They just announced the prices, the Fury X is $649 and the Fury is $500~
Musta missed that. People keep bothering me, it's like I'm at work or something.
My 280x is looking very disappointing now that i've seen those. Still runs everything like a champ though.
You think that's bad, I'm going "that nano is my 290x... but its so small"
My card is this honking great thing
Meh lets wait until we see benchmarks.
So I was bored last night and searched up my boss at work. Turns out the fucker not only graduated from Cisco Networking Academy as a network engineer in 2004, but also graduated NAIT in 2007, again with Network Engineering. Straight after that he hitches a job at WalMart of all places and never looked back.
Isn't the Cisco Network Academy just the netacad stuff they have?
Big things comes in small packages.
Almost.

http://techfrag.com/2015/06/13/amd-radeon-300-series-new-specs-leaked-online/ Gonna be amazing.
208w for 390x? I find that unlikely.
Big things comes in small packages.
Not in my experience.
do we know anything about when the 300 series becomes available to consumers or reviewers yet? itching to see the benchmarks
The 300 series is already on sale at best buy because best buy completely ignored amd's instructions on sale dates. Fury x is out on the 24th and fury is later. http://imgur.com/6aGGKLm

http://imgur.com/6aGGKLm
Isn't that like a huge major faux pas that gets bestbuy a huge fine and possibly a snubbing from AMD?
No it isn't? But I'd scrap the whole system
Scrap the whole thing? :v: I'm not about to buy an entirely new computer cause I really don't think there's any way I'd get enough money for that.
[t]http://u.cubeupload.com/chrishind10/chinkpad.jpg[/t] Well that's the Microsoft tramp stamp hidden, now to duct tape over the Lenovo logo.
why not black electrical tape?
Anything will do. I just want it gone.
cover it in black filler :v:
Scrap the whole thing? :v: I'm not about to buy an entirely new computer cause I really don't think there's any way I'd get enough money for that.
Well it's a very low end dual core processor, so no GPU is going to let you play FO4. The motherboard has no viable upgrade path for a good enough CPU either.
Anything will do. I just want it gone.
isn't lenovo a pretty good oem?
Well it's a very low end dual core processor, so no GPU is going to let you play FO4. The motherboard has no viable upgrade path for a good enough CPU either.
So I couldn't just replace the motherboard and CPU? (and the gpu)
Oh I get it. The R9 Nano will probably be supported under the new amdgpu Linux drivers, so it'll be the perfect SteamMachine GPU. You can make the case way smaller because you can have a smaller PSU thanks to the Nano being more efficient, and just because the Nano is smaller to begin with. Since the new drivers are properly built into the kernel and graphics stack, you can do your nice flicker-free boot-up animations with Plymouth, without any problems.
but prebuilt psu which is basically an ied case could be properitry in which case good fucking luck getting an atx standard motherboard in there the only thing salvageable is the ram and hdd basically still a scrap
Well alright, guess I'll start digging around for quarters. Do any hardware sites regularly have sales?
with the nano being so small in a case with a riser you could probably just strap an SSD and SFX PSU to a really fucking small case that's no wider than an ITX motherboard and be on your way with a performance system.
isn't lenovo a pretty good oem?
Not really anymore. Granted no oem is really good anymore outside of some business models.
fuck yo merge
you should also do research on techpowerup and toms hardware too as well they have great budget builds but we can also help you find the perfect build and help you build it too [editline]17th June 2015[/editline] levelog my merge
Name some of the newer motherboards/CPUs/GPUs/etc so I at least know where to start looking? That's usually where I get lost.
Not really anymore. Granted no oem is really good anymore outside of some business models.
Dell is starting to get good again. But I emphasize "starting to". The current XPS 13 is *fantastic*, the rest is still getting there.
isn't lenovo a pretty good oem?
It WAS a good OEM until now.
