I had that issue recently, and I just ended up using Task Manager to end the process and then started it up again. The program says that the driver is installed, and I haven't had any problems with it yet, so maybe that would work for you too.
[QUOTE=Amiga OS;48065785]I've got a similar problem at work. SharePoint is usually used for file storage but our internet connection is so damn poor its painful to use.
The guy they got in to wire the building 2 years ago only put a crappy 10/100 Cisco switch in. When we get fiber in, I'll be asking the boss to buy a couple of microtik gigabit switches, a file storage server and I'll be cable managing that godawful cabinet over a weekend.[/QUOTE]
Take a look at the Ubiquiti Edgeswitches too if you need something managed. I had some issues with it passing traffic on vlans with a cisco switch, but the newest firmware fixed it no problem. They're really capable and far cheaper than an HP/Dell/Cisco equivalent. Up to 48 port, PoE, really nice ones.

I got the same thing, but for PhysX, was stuck for over 24 hour, didn't really have a choice but to just kill the process, the actual driver seemed to have already been installed, and it didn't complain.

oops new page
Am I a nerd for buying a Zenfone 2 and removing at least 90% of the features?
A big part of it was getting rid of the bloatware, but coming from a Nexus 5 all the Asus apps felt clunky. I've been re-installing all the Google apps and even re-installed GEL.
[editline]27th June 2015[/editline]
I will forever miss the Google dialer though :(

[QUOTE=Sand Castle;48067032]i really doubt i'll get more than 960, it's a precise number. i think i could be fine with a 2gb/3gb gpu for now if it saves the 30$ -- [B]also shipping is a concern unless they're on amazon/with prime[/B] :l
[editline]27th June 2015[/editline]
instead of getting people to make me lists how about i make my own and have you guys look it over?[/QUOTE]
PCPricePicker's total includes shipping. Feel free to look for the parts on Amazon manually though.
If you still need to save some, drop to 8GB of memory. Can always add more later.
Not sure if you've mentioned it, but do you [I]need[/I] an optical drive? You could remove that as well.
You could also reuse an old optical drive (if it's SATA) and/or WiFi card/dongle.
Note that with a GTX 960, you'll have to go to high/medium settings for most things, though it's more than enough for your emulators - but I suppose it can't be helped if you can't afford anything better right now.

Yeah, did that. Driver got installed no problem.
there are at least 10 times a day i think about how some budding dumpster diver may have taken my computer and have perused the files on it
As for that SSD - it won't just make everything smoother, you can also benefit from having two drives while working, as long as you can split stuff up. Keeping source material on one drive and the output on another will make your creative work faster, and you can always move everything to your 2TB drive once you're done, or just delete stuff.

muh merge

If you're paranoid about something like that to the point where it actually bothers you every day, you should seek a psychologist.
So I fucked up flashing a ROM to my phone three times today, bricked once, and went through countless factory resets.
Now since I got my phone in a condition I like and I like using Play across multiple devices for my music, time to re-download everything again!
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VSKvESE.jpg[/img_thumb]
Not seen is the 20GB of stored music on Google Play I have to re-download. Again.
UGH.
Aaalright, it's time for 16 GB of RAM to be stuck in! I finally snapped and decided it'd be worth it more than the pain of 8 GB.

i didn't have anything illegal on it or something like that, it's just that I had all of my passwords saved -- including my steam and skype accounts. if you want to grab my old computer, fine, but my accounts and video games i payed for don't come with it.
Then go and change your passwords if you're freaked out about it?
also the post was exaggerated -- it's something that occurs maybe once a day, since it happened a mere three days ago, and just bothers me a little bit, not to the level of any anxiety or paranoia

Oh don't worry I'm not gonna grab your steam games, I'm just there for your quirky porn collection
[editline]28th June 2015[/editline]
But seriously, just change your passwords on things and never think of it again

who downloads porn
Porn doesn't last long on the internet, especially amateur porn (doubly so if you combine with fetishes).
Some people have huge collections of it for some reason
[editline]28th June 2015[/editline]
I guess you could say the same about music, right? (I download all my music though (through legitimate purchases (seriously)))

is there any real point to looking at the same porn over and over again? that just seems dumb to me

It's not for watching it over and over again, it's an attraction to that one person.
Prime example: any gone wild subreddit. There are many women on there, but some creep is saving their pictures so that six months down the line if he doesn't remember the username, he can open a folder and remember why he saddly did such a thing.
I like my porn with a good story? There aren't many options out there, so local copies are nice and convenient.
-i'm a dumb kid that holds no real knowledge gained through experience of an adult relationship-

I'm attracted to girls I get to know, not random porn girls

You've clearly never been in a long adult relationship then.

Do you have a girlfriend?
If not, you do now.
If you saved nudes of your girlfriend and you're bothered when shes not around, it's a quick resource.
The only other reason is the coming fallout, and the internet no longer exists.

Sorry for potato vid, but that's what people don't want.
