Live in U.S. Any glaring issues or suggestions? Probably playing Minecraft, TF2, and maybe new games coming (Skyrim?)
Get Windows 7 64-bit, no question about it. Same price, too.
If you want to save some cash, Spinpoint F3 is $50 on Newegg, and you don't lose any quality.
RAM and Optical Drive can also be had for a few bucks less each, but if you don't care about that, then that's fine.
Swap the OS for 64, get a spinpoint F3 instead of the seagate barracuda, swap the DVD drive for this, 23' monitor for 10$ more
While there's nothing wrong with your build, I saw little things that I could save money on, and with that, I've made my own for $1110.88 with this promo code (COPSUA)

Sorry I forgot to mention I have only about 19" of space (lengthwise) for a moniter, and the monitor you suggested is almost 22".
Also, do you think this build will be able to run Skyrim decent or easily?
I'd imagine it could max it quite easily
Indeed, you could max out, but with your budget, you could probably get a 570.

Revised build, any way I can lower the price? (combos or things I don't need).
drop the ram down to 4gb and get the haf 912 case you won't regret it i got one a couple months ago great space and easy to get around in it also said you only had 19' space for monitor the one you selected is 21.5' so i'd find one that will fit and that should drop some money also.
RAM is extremely cheap nowadays, might aswell get 8GB for the price of 4GB several months ago..
But don't buy overpriced stuff like Vengeance, this is just as good for $11 cheaper:

Also you can probably cut that down 100 bucks by getting combo deals from newegg, pcpartpicker is useless..
what state do you live in? Do you have to pay taxes in Newegg?
Also pay up the extra $15 and go for the 750W PSU
[editline]wef[/editline]
I highly suggest you get the PSU/CPU combo in my build above

While I agree he shouldn't spout it EVERYWHERE, the HAF 912 is a very good budget case, and most people won't use above 4gb...
