I've seen the specs on the GTX 475 and it kicks the 480's ass. Any idea when it's supposed to come out?
I hear it's gonna cost from like $300-$350.
I've decided on getting a GTX 460, but after hearing about the 475, I'm hesitant now.
never heard of the GTX 475, and a Google search on led to other threads of people speculating about it.
Where did you see the specs for the "475"?
And considering the 470 is ~$350. I figure the "475" is going to be more around $400~$450

so you saw nothing really, just the name code name, fabrication, and transistors.
[editline]10:13PM[/editline]
and the shader count and the core config.
[editline]10:13PM[/editline]
there are no actual specs on it.

:downs:
they can't compare the GTX 475 seeing as it's only a rumor at the moment

If it's just a rumour then where did the values on that table come from?
How is the 475 going to be better than the 480? :downs:

From the values of the table, and how the GTX 460 SLI is already better than the 480.

480 was first generation, basically rushed to compete with ATi's latest cards. Now they're refining what they have and improving on it.
Well, I'm starting my job soon so I know what I'm going to be buying.
Can't wait for 485 and 495.
Think how much overkill 495 will be
i want two 495s in sli
might need to borrow my neighbor's gas generator to power it though
