Yea, it's not quite black, a dark brown. a backplate would have been nice, but the back of it has those LED's that light up dynamically based on power usage and overall it looks pretty clean.
I don't know why... Blackish/Brown PCBs, with blue fans always makes me skee like a little kid.

Yeah, nevermind, that actually looks a bit cheap then.
brt you should have gotten an MSI motherboard, it would have totally matched the lightning xtreme :v:
I haven't ordered the board yet, but I'm not sure if I should get the z68 G80 or the UD4. It would match mostly, though the UD4 is completely matte black.

The UD4 is gorgeous, but I would get the GD80 because it matches the video card.
Kind of off topic but, what camera do you have?
You need to update your "Computer Specifications" section of your Youtube channel.
This would be perfect for my build BlackIce :v:

I use a Canon HV20, it's 4 years old, but it's still used plenty for short films and was the camera used for 'back to black mesa", that HL2 short film. Shoots brilliantly good video outdoors and decent inside.

Indeed I do.

Yea, I'm still deciding between them. Wish I could see a definitive post explaining which one is best for me. I want the dual LAN on the G80 but I like the complete Matte black of the UD4.
Tough choice. I get paid Tuesday/Wednesday, so I'll have to figure it out until then.
Nice unboxing video, i like how you went quite in depth with the features and things.
The jumpcuts of the card being unboxed and especially of you talking at then end were very jarring though, we don't mind watching you talk normally, don't feel you need to cut out your thinking time when talking as it can be quite unsettling if you do it for every 2nd or 3rd word.
That's a pretty neat looking card, but why does the name of the card reminds me of typical COD players with names like xXxh3adsh0tm4st3rL33TxXx ?

I don't see a connection. If this is what you see when people use big words, then you're what we call a retard. No shame in that.

I completely agree. I'm trying to find a median between saving time and sounding normal. So i'm taking all this into consideration in the future. Sometimes while editing I get in a groove and simply cut out blank spaces in order to tighten up a sentence as I usually consider myself slow to speak. Thanks. I do hate how it sounds like I'm mumbling behind the camera. I think most cameras do that. When I speak into my normal mic i tend to sound much better, but maybe it was since I recorded the end part many hours later when I wasn't so drained.

I sorta see what you mean, but it's just a collection of naming schemes for the cards.
MSI = Manufacturer obviously
Geforce = Nvidia's gaming line of cards
GTX = High end
580 = model
Lightning = MSI's Overclocked + New PCB + custom edition
Xtreme Edition = Double memory, new fans, new colors, higher power design.
So it just gets very long obviously when you stack more and more variables on it.

Quite ironically if you think terms such as "Lighting Xtreme" are considered as big words, you would be what the entire society would consider as a retard. No shame in that right?
Your name is Crest, and you go by SirCrest?
Who would ever just add "Sir" to their name and make it a username? How lame.

I see what you did there...
Or something like that.
He is actually Brett,
And Crest is his nickname, I guess.

It's just an extra tag to differentiate my alias from the others on youtube. I'm not high and mighty, just thought it sounded decent rather than making up an alias other than my main one that would confuse people.

you must be the most disagreeable and hostile person I've ever met
funny how you always talk about how I'm such an unforgiving, ignorant jerk yet you are one yourself, and you make sure the entire forum knows as you spread your plague-like opinion throughout it
hypocrite
Lightning xtreem edishun bitchin fast thunder storm

Wow, I'm an idiot. But all the same, I've heard people ask me that still, so I had an answer ready.

What opinion?
That was a joke. Unlike your "poppin' in to say FUCK YOU. You're a retard!" campaign. I can snip it if it makes your tummy hurt. It's still better than your average post. Hypocrite.

@ OP. You should do more of these. Cut down on the mini-cuts though. I know some people find them stylish and "cool" but they also break up the natural pace and makes it seem like it's a multi-take mess. These cuts are usually used to cover up for unprofessional actors that can't stay together for a few seconds, but It seems that you can, since you pretty much made it obvious that you knew what you were talking about.

Thanks for the comment, I'll be doing more for the rest of my parts this week. I'll try to get my thoughts out better as to avoid feeling the need for jumpcuts everywhere.
How does the Twin Frozr III compare to II? Is it worth the extra money?
I don't have a TFII to try, but my TFIII is quite amazing given it's noise and performance.
