Thanks OP! Installing now.
No problem.
Also, I am glad it didn't start a AV war like some other threads I have seen. Just wanted people who want to try the new AVG or upgrade to it the chance to do it.
Linux > All antiviruses
:P
Pretty much this... it's the biggest reason I switched to Linux, the security is far better implemented, and it isn't such a big target like Windows is.
Comodo + Malwarebytes + Avast + MSE > all
Kaspersky Internet Security + Malwarebytes + Intelligence + Common Sense > all
Mac > all
Common sense is all you need. I haven't had a virus scanner for years.
I use Avira AntiVir
Comodo Sandbox + Malwarebytes > All
This
Nod32 + Malware Bytes > All

The whole Nod32 suite that is.
Same combination here and I love it
I love how everyone is assuming people HAVE common sense.
On topic though, I've always used AVG and not ONCE have I had a virus, EAT THAT!
AVG always raped my processes with it's real time scanner
Been using Comodo for some months and have been liking it.
