I hope you're joking.
No. Obviously a virus can only get transferred through .exes. :downs:

Also, iTunes isn't an antivirus, why should iTunes have "detained" it? chances are you put something on there from whatever p2p site you downloaded your songs from and one of them is hidden and recopies itself over after each connection

Are you sure that it really was your iPod and not those questionable downloads that you are running in the background.
Apple is obviously installing malware on iPods to infect Windows machines.
Why do i think this would be so awesome if they actually were..
iPods are made by Apple so they are 100% virus proof... !
Well if it's HFS formatted they effectively are... considering the fact that even if you got a virus on there, windows computers can't read it without third-party software. It's the WinPods that get you into trouble.
we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses
hahaha, they fuck up and even then they (try) to turn it around. oh apple [editline]07:02PM[/editline] also it's hilarious that even apple think norton and macafee are good AVs
Ok, so the other day, my computer shit itself, got Malware, and I had to wipe the computer's memory out and start from scratch. Anyway, it's fine now, (after re-installing everything) and it is because my I-Pod was plugged into the computer. How is this possible, does my ipod have a virus or something??
Unless you put virus's on your Ipod I dont see how it can.... Unless one of your songs is infected with it then no. I recommend scanning it just for the hell of it... Was it so hard that you had to start a thread? Facepunch come together and flame this dumb thread!
