My bad, didn't even notice the motherboard, now the link is fixed, full build, with case, and a 7200 RPM HD.

Core i7 = Xeon X3440 > i5 750
You don't judge HDDs purely by capacity and RPM.
Memory density is a big factor as well.
Ghostofme's is still better.
Not to mention cheaper.
You may have a good point on the processor as I was not aware of this, I would note however that I put in the case and CD drive on request. Without them, the prices are similar. Also, you must be including mail in rebates in your total.

Updated again, with your CPU, what do you think OP?

The NZXT isn't worth it/inferior to the Cooler Master.
[editline]11:31PM[/editline]
And OP already stated that he has a CD drive.
Cool, i forgot to mention i have a CD drive too, but ive decied that if you can, would you mind building a quick one with case and all? i might just turn this old computer into a server
This build is so he can use his old one still. I'm not trying to compete with your build or price atm ghost, just humoring OP.
And if you really want to get into case specifics, it's mostly personal taste, so it's whatever the OP prefers.

If you're not competing why do you continuously edit and argue?
[editline]11:37PM[/editline]
Good hardware performance is not built upon personal taste.
Just refining the build to a point. After all its for the OP not for us to play the my horse is better then your horse game.

Cases are a thing of taste but you have to factor in quality which the nzxt is seriously lacking in so if he wants a case with leds he could get the antec 900 or the haf 922 but why sacrifice quality for leds.

But that is what you are doing?

Last time I checked, cases don't perform... just some minor cooling differences.

Cooling would count as performance.
[editline]11:41PM[/editline]
Also, a case's features would be a major factor too. And this Cooler Master has some awesome features.

It helps a lot on building upgrading and is cheaper when you don't have to upgrade you case when you are not 12.
Ok, bottomline, who should I pick?
Ok, bottomline, who should I pick?
Ghostofme's and if you need an optical drive just get a nice sata cause even then his is better.
Also remember to use the promo code on the graphics card. Also on the mobo make sure to put the ram in the left blue and white slots.
You could make it easier and rather then link everything separately, put it into a wish list with one link, and a nice total.

I can never get wishlists to work. It doesn't make a difference anyways.
I added the total in my post too...sooo, what's your point?
I can never get wishlists to work. It doesn't make a difference anyways.
you simply copy the code at the end of the url and switch it with one from a public wish list, like my link.

I'll give it a shot next time.
Also, your second wishlist is screwed up.

There we go, linked it wrong, this should do it: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17440167

My PSU is better.
My case is better.
My GPU is cheaper yet equivalent.
You basically reflected my build other than those two parts.
And my build is still cheaper.
BTW, I mentioned your total because it must have been added wrong, now including the 1 TB HD, your total is: $1005
[editline]06:28PM[/editline]
My gpu has twice the warranty, and my psu is superior by 50 watts as well as being a superior manufacturer, and according to my math, your build is $80 more then mine.
