HEy I know people here have the storm scout and the antec 300, I have a question:
WHat would be better: Antec 300 + 2 Red Fans to go at front or Storm Scout, The antec setup would be slightly cheaper. Also the 4870 fits in the the scout/antec 300?
Not sure about your first question (I think a Storm Scout would be better), but a 4870 will fit in both of those.

Fits in both, beware of harddrives. You might need to move them to fit long cards.

I mean whats a better case for cooling/cable management etc as the scout has jumped 20£ in price to 85£ and the antec is only 45£

DVD drive has got a broken tray motor (I have to open it up by sticking a needle in that hole)
Floppy got broken and I couldn't find the blank cover.
Inside: Gigabyte mobo (some SLI crap I got in exchange for my old mobo which burnt), AMD X2 5000+, GeForce 9600GT 1gb, 2 gigs of RAM, X-Fi Gamer.
I installed everything in the new case and with the new CPU, but for some reason I have no sound now..

oh god, you have a decent pc yet its in such a terrible case D: just go out and buy one of those 25£ ASUS cases so your pc wont want to suicde anymore

DId you change your CPU without a format? if you have a OEM OS doesnt that cause problems? Did you knock/unplug anything by mistake while you were installing it?
I didn't reinstall the OS i think its just the drivers because windows says its finding the speakers and the little mixer thingy moves but no sound.

If you replace your CPU, it's recommended to reformat.
If you'd rather not reformat, simply uninstall your drivers and reinstall them.

I dunno the disk with the mobo came with some I just installed them.

Easy mistake, glad it works.
Reminds me of the time i had a muted Front Audio in Linux... Alsamixer told me it was unmuted... It lied.
The plug was black and I plugged it in the black hole seemed the best way.
It only worked when i plugged it in the green one.
Got bored so I threw some parts together and built a computer without a case.

It might be the fact that basically your whole computer is passively cooled.
I had a computer like that for 3 years though :P
