Why not just wait till you can take pictures without flash? Also you should really try and frame your pictures right when your taking them so that you can see the whole object your looking at, not just a corner or a small portion. Zoom out.

The most i think that could play is doom2.
My old one was a beast, For being a pre-built one I could play fallout 3 on high, Crysis on low and all the source games, When it fried I took it into this computer store near my place, A few days later he called me and said that everything fried and it would have cost $400 to order the parts from Dell, Then he said " I got a computer here that is better then your old one and I'll sell it to you for $250, So I decided to do it, When I got it home and installed steam, I went to play css and the computer almost had a heart attack, I called him up and told him that he lied to me and sold me a piece of shit computer and that I want my old computer back and will order the parts needed to fix it, Thats when he told me he pawned off all the parts and case from my old one >.>, ( The old one that I am STILL paying for) He also lied about everything being fried, If everything was fried the computer wouldn't even turn on, When I had it, It still turned on, just wouldn't get past the windows vista logo (It would go to sleep every time and I'd have to restart it). So basically the RAM and such was still good and he never told me. Now I'm stuck with this shitty thing until I can get some money together to order a new computer/ Maybe buy new parts for this one if I can afford a whole new computer.
To answer your question, Yea I can play older games on it, Currently playing through Diablo 2 and Lod with my mates, And I can play Postal 2 on low ( Still get a little lag when there are alot of bodies, Stuff going on around me).

That's a pretty shit thing to happen. if i was in the unlucky situation to have a dell break and not have the knowlage to fix it I would have just sent it back to dell, at least you know they aren't goung to steal parts.

Yea, I didn't really know alot about what was wrong with it, I had taken that computer there in the past ( He did a system restore on it or something along the lines of that)
The sad thing is that I am still paying the old computer off, That really pissed me the fuck off.
